Hey guys, seems that we can't use myfxbook to post on twitter so that twitter can forward to StockTwits.
I have been suspended for a few hours for doing this (posting some around 5 to 10 trade results) at StockTwits and now my suspension was now removed after i cleared out things with StockTwits.
i was assuming that from this
'Advanced profiling and limitations for your tweets (For example sending to StockTwits.com). Only use these if you're sure what you're doing! '
we could use Twitter + myfxbook, but when using the $ on symbols StockTwits picks up the Twitter post and publishes on StockTwits and seems that their own designed system that was ... designed to use this tagged me as a BOT and suspended me.
So i wonder why do they allow posting on Twitter and link Twitter to StockTwits in the first place?
Anyone having the same problem? Or anyone is using myfxbook to post on Twitter + StockTwits?
here's the reply that I received from StockTwits admin

Thank you for contacting StockTwits. Your account was suspended because it was flagged as a bot. While not specifically listed in our House Rules, we do not allow any type of automated post on StockTwits at all. If you would like to get the suspension removed from your account, you must do one of the following:
- remove the posting program from your Twitter account
- remove the $Ticker fro your posting on Twitter
-remove the link to your Twitter on your StockTwits account
Anyone of these things will fix the problem, please email me back if you have any questions.
'
I got a little confused because they DO allow us to link Twitter to StockTwits... and the system is designed to pick up only tweets that contain '$' so I wonder why they don't allow it.
But hey.. you have been warned. Avoid using the option here for StockTwits if you want to get your account there clean ;)
