hi,
why FXOpen (in contest) has deliberately shut the orders that have gone to another account in profit?
Please either mail me with the following information or post it here:
1. account number
2. deal number
3. description of the problem

I think that this FxOpen ECN account is a total bullshit.
In first has no meanig speaking about liquidity on demo account.
Demo orders don't go on market so I don't understand why simulate a filling on real liquidity.
In second, if this is the real liquidity of the ECN FxOpen account is better to don't use for trading in real.
If I can't use the account for automated trading due to these serious fast execution time lacks and I should use the ECN account only for manual trading I'll prefer a real good broker like Dukascopy or something else based on Currenex.
You are welcomed to provide proofs. There are indeed technical issues as I mentioned above but as far as we know it only affects this group and not other demo or live groups. If you are so convinced there's something wrong with our liquidity you are welcomed to open a live account and test the feed and execution. If it's not what we claim it is you are welcomed to post the results here instead of making claims based on your prejudiced opinion and not actual experience.
I can only say that you would be surprised that some of the large 'ECN' or 'Currenex' brokers you may have traded with or will trade with keep most of the flow in house.
As far as your complaints about automatic or slow execution you are welcomed to this post about the competition to see that there are plenty of traders who actually make nice results: https://blog.myfxbook.com/. So this doesn't really fit into your theory.

Thanks of this phrase, now I understand.
A very good advertising system from FxOpen have technical issues on these contest account.
😁
I think that if a broker give a not 'absolutely perfect' execution on accounts for a contest it's simply not a good broker.
Technical issues are 'not accepted', sorry.
I've nothing to demonstrate, I've posted my opinion that is based on real and demo trades on a lot of different brokers.

You are entitled to your own opinion.
Yet there are brokers who give you 'absolutely perfect' execution on demo accounts in order to draw you in and then they bite you in the ass on live trading. As said, we have nothing to hide and I do say we are receiving complaints regarding this group but not others, we are checking this on technical side.
If you think that 'absolutely perfect' execution on demo accounts is a proof of brokers' integrity then you are naive.
As you have nothing to demonstrate repeating your opinions doesn't strengthen them, on the contrary.

Hi All,
We have located the problem and had it fixed yesterday. All accounts should be working fine now.
The problem was a technical issue on our liquidity providers side, however we assume for responsibility for it as it is our own MT4 ECN bridge. The glitch affected only demo accounts on all groups not just of this contest.
We have reconfigured and restarted the ECN MT4 server and the ECN bridge and all should be working perfectly now.
Should you encounter any any other problems please feel free to contact me directly at my email address cmo [@] fxopen . com
I won't be actively monitoring this thread except today.
Good luck in your trading and may the best trader win!

'Perfect work' in demo account, specially for a contest, is the 'entry level' for a broker service, not the top level.
You, before, wrote about problems only on this demo contest group, now you write there was problems on all ECN demo.
I have write nothing about honesty of FxOpen as broker, sound strange and out of topic your words about 'integrity' and honesty....
Many thanks anyway, now that I have tasted the public relations of FxOpen I have lost any little idea to open an account with this broker.

i don't know what's the meaning of 'fixing the problem' after forcing a lot of accounts to lose the contest
i think there was no problem from the start but the matter was they didn't expect to hear all of these compaints
secondly
i don't know why you insist on mentioning other brokers as if you are trying to make your problem a public one among all brokers
and if the broker doesn't show his best in demo accounts then how would he ever be good in real
i know some brokers have different servers for demo accounts that dowsn't give the same excution as for real accounts
but that doesn't mean that the broker has to be bad in demo so as not to cheat on his clients

Judging by your comments from the beginning you never had such an intention in the firstplace but rather used this thread to throw dirt at us, even though you are not listed in this competition, never traded with us and do not really know anything about us except what prejudiced people like you write on other forums.

And I thought you uninstalled the platform because you lost all your equity and got nothing else to gain in this competition?
Please point the finger at yourself and your trading system.
We had our share of technical problems, we came forward, acknowledged and took responsibility for that. Something you should consider doing as well.

And this proves what exactly Falk? This Maxey dude is all over us and his forexfactory (fxcm) cronies are fully supporting that because they know we are better than that and it's the only way they think they can get to us.
While you are at it, such an avid forum follower such as yourself, why don't you Google your favorite broker's name + word Scam and see how many results you find? I thought so.

claiming to take your responsibility means recalculating all damaged accounts not showing after a week to say'hey, we fixed our system'
since you didn't do so then you didn't take your responsibilities
as for me,i wouldn't have lost my equity if i was dealing through a broker not a barber who's great it cutting customers' balances
if you were able to manage your work properly me and other traders wouldn't lose

Dear bengates,
I did so but was unable to obtain any results. My broker is regulated und does his job in a professional manner, at least up to now.
Then why do you waste your time posting quasi plausible arguments at best and libel at worst on forums if you are happy with your existing broker and never traded with us? I can think of a name for such a phenomena. Hypocrisy?

Funny, it seems your trading system was losing 98% even before the contest. Our demo accounts are to blame there as well?
And if you sincerely were interested in recuperating some of your loses due to our technical difficulties you would have sent me your account number and deal number and we could actually go through it and see whether we are to blame or not.
Stop blaming others for your loses, it's immature.

It´s not your task to decide if I waste my time or not. Most of my time I spend with my family and a very small amount of my time making money with serious forex brokers. I think you spend most of your time, at least during this contest, with hypocrising for your company, which is not bad because it is your job. What I am writing in this forum is my opinion and it matches with the opinion of many forum members of fxbook community, or are there any positive comments about this fxopen contest? If there are some I must have skipped them, sorry. In contrast to you, I am not payed for posts at this great site, so be very careful with such claims as 'Hypocrisy'.
Best Regards

it's so obvious that you're trying to change the main issue into a personnal one
but you must know something
i'm writing here just to make it clear for others what you really are
but you're writing trying to clean some dirt off your company
if i want to make it a personnal issue like you do i' ready to show you real accounts statements to prove to you and to others what i'm able to gain in forex but by doing so then i'll be defending myself against nothing
instead you should be defending your broker against all the b.....it

I traded with Fxopen and lets make this clear I used to till they cheated me outa money.....anyway here whats happened I traded with a bot when I used fxopened and they have acontest or did if you were in the top 100 trades you got money credited to your account at the end of each month. Well this month they put the money in my account for being in the top 100 and OPPS they put too much in ....another part that needs to be clear the bot runs and I dont have to look after it so them putting money in my account did not change how my bot was running it just kept going make trades and making me money well a few days latter they noticed this mistake they had made .. and not only did they take the money from my account the extra money they had put in .....but on top of taking the extra money they took all the money I made for they trades my bot had done well there extra money was in my account not that it effected my account I did not use there money it was not needed but they said because there money was in my account at the time any trades done well there money was there were considered there money. so they took all the money I made on those trades my bot did plus they took there extra money back and would not answer my emails when I tryed to talk to them ........
But hey there a good broker right....and they fixed there problem ...ie they say they dont steal peoples money 'ANYMORE'...
