how did you do backtest ? backtest is really very slow
Yes it is very slow just one pair at a time with specific set file loaded on 1H with the normal spread and every tick setting. Im going to forward test for a bit see how it goes because backtest doesnt trade as much as the live test settings do on myfxbook here. Also waiting for vendor reply to email on settings. I hope the results are not like the backtest! Most expensive EA I have purchased to date.

I have also purchased and put on live account before demo because I could not wait after looking his myfxbook statement. Do you have any Skype ID lets dig little more on it. I was convinced with the logic, we can play with logic and settings to make it profitable.

The default results look amazing because it got on a lucky streak with extreme leverage. The results are good, but if you want to see a more realistic result, open the 'custom analysis' tab, select ONLY one of the currencies, input 10000 into the 'Custom Deposit', and then click the 'Analyze' button. This will give you a realistic graph for each of the currencies. I took a quick snapshot to show a quick demonstration of the effect. Notice that I switched off the equity and growth graphs, but left the EURUSD graph on, on the chart.

EDIT: Additional note about the Custom Deposit. You will probably need to change the amount for the different currencies. Just input a deposit amount that allows the graph to scale correctly. The amount in not important, because you are not looking at the % gain to be correct, but using this to get an accurate view of the ups and downs in the performance of each pair.

Fichiers joints:

Make losses, but always come out a winner at the end.

So maybe trading EURUSD not that good idea? However hard to say with the risk not consistent on this fxbook.

Thnak you very much though, appreciate your input!

Why would you think that? When the deposit amount is adjusted to display an appropriate zoom level for the EURUSD, the performance appears good. It only looks bad when you don't make the appropriate adjustment to display the correct zoom. That is why I was saying what I did about making sure to adjust the deposit currency for each pair. If you don't do this, the extreme money management gives a terribly skewed view, and you can't tell the actual performance.

Hope that makes more sense!

Yes I see what you saying, thanks for making it clear. Maybe need to see this EA over two years instead of one. I will not be using the MM that is used with this fxbook but 1-3% fixed. AMAZING results today BTW, you could not have picked a better possible entry on AUDUSD.

I agree. My manual system had a sell signal to enter short exactly at the 0.8900 level on the AUDUSD.

Hi everyone!

Would anyone be so kind and explain how these two accounts traded GBPUSD so differently during the 10.30.2014? Is it all up to the settings or what? One is trading two currencies and the other four, but still the GBPUSD is completely different during this day 30th of October.

Grateful for your input! BR

Ok guys.
Please give me overall conclusion, without lies.

Is it worth to spend such money for this EA?

I am testing a few EA's right now.
Only some of them still profitable..

John

Man this EA is VERY legit! The entries are incredible! The fxbook is a bit tricky but it is really just an exmple of vendor showing off. Not a bad thing just not what a trader should do in real life. You can make the money back the cost of EA in little time.

Very simple. The two accounts are not trading the same pairs. One of them is even trading a pair that is not on the list of recommended currencies. The other is not trading all four of the recommended currencies.

Birt has also setup a live test account. He is using 1% for the money management, which I consider more realistic. https://www.myfxbook.com/members/birt/rev-trader-pro/1052077

The account that is down is trading pairs that are not suppose to be traded with REV Trader PRO.

I am very much happy with the logics of this EA for entry and exit points. Even though my start with this EA is not good but I am confident it will recover my losses soon. Good thing is, I compare my trades with master account, they are 100% identical except those which I closed manually or owner has closed manually during weekend. It shows vendor is giving same setting what he is using. I have 60 days money back guaranty and I am hoping that I will keep the EA and will not refund. If any one need my advise then he should buy in one shot instead of installments to save the money. By the way I am not seller and I don't have any commission from vendor, I am giving your my honest review. Track my account to make your decisions.

I have an other EA under my portfolio which made 190% a month but I don't have courage to put him on live however this EA after reviewing the logic I put on live. Here is the other one 120% per month EA but I am using only on demo with risk level 10%

Hi all,

1. Do you know why Birth has not used this ea on EURUSD, while the creator of this ea is still using it on EURUSD?

2. According to creator of this ea, how many % risk is max risk that he can suggest? 3% or 5%?

3. From the summary of this myfxbook of creator, AUDUSD is the most PIP GAINER PAIR. But why doesn't the creator increase lot size of AUDUSD to 3 like NZDUSD, but he only uses 1 lot?

I am observing and it seems this EA is worth the money. It is just the creator has not provided detailed guidance and explanations such as: Why he set up smallest lot size on AUDUSD (when this pair made the most pip gains), and why he set up biggest lot size at 3 on NZDUSD? What is max risk % that he can suggest if we want to use MM instead of fixed lot size, etc?

Hope anybody who has bought this ea can ask the vendor and let's see how he explains.

Have a nice weekend to all !

James

Hello Antny!

Yes, they are different, but I asked about GBPUSD for the same day/date - not the other currencies. Both traded bot SELL and BUY GBPUSD but one system did very bad while the other well. That's what I asked about. Have a look and please help me to understand the difference:

I think his risk is not 1% because I set risk level 5% and it is taking lot size .02 on $388 balance how come with 1% risk it is taking .03 lot on 300 account. May be his risk is 10 not 1.

MA Shahid

what settings have you used since the recent REV update last week? I've used the default settings for 2 weeks, but last week after 2 losses at .5 lots, the new revised update have sized the trades at .05
