I do not think so, the guess the key reasons were breach of multiyear lows USD/JPY, heavy orders inbalance and extremely thin trading. The other pairs simply were ripples on this pair.I was glued to the screen yesterday too, this was a real show. The last time I saw something similar was May 2010...

ATC is not the only one -- I use FXDD and FXCM and they both found a way to go around NFA restrictions some time ago, though finally they both created branches for non US clients (FXCM uses a UK branch and FXDD - a Malta branch).

I am also demoing IamFX and I am not impressed. For example I have been trying to close a couple of positions today for a hours and I am getting "trading context busy" message all the time. Come on this is a demo account! So just cannot imagine how it works with real accounts.
