I'm trying to find out about low-risk strategies with good returns. By good returns I mean around 3-4% per month. None of the low-risk successful strategies on myfxbook autotrade seems to be from reputable or top brokers. I would appreciate any input from other traders.

Low risk is subjective. My requirements for safe seem to be a bit more stringent than most. However, I can recommend that you take a look at Pegasus. https://forex-assistant.com/products/pegasus/ that's what I use and I develop systems, (or used to).

Outside the US, 3 to 4% is normal but you can cut that in half if you're still in the States.

Good luck.

Thanks Bob. I agree. No more than 2-4% should be the target.

Swing Trading might be the answer..

Steady gains, low risk per trades, high payouts per trade..

With Swing Trading in general and my strategy in particular, you only need to target the best trades each month. This 37% Return was achieved in only 3 months using 5% Risk per Trade and targeting 100-200 Pips on average each time.

Trading is done only twice per month, minimizing the exposure of your Account/Investment to the market.

'the best solution so far'

Exactly what solution is that? I see a graph with no history and no live trades. I might be interested in learning more but I have no idea what you are doing. Posts should be somewhat educational, yes, we all have different ways of trading but the only point of being on these forums is educational. Rob, why don't you tell us how your system works and why. Then we can all share in the discussion.

Adrian, got a question about your trades, which is your favorit robot and which is your safest?

@ForexAssistant
Armada is for News trading - optimised to be one of the fastest robots (no uncecessary code)
AmaxPRO - Great results @ good DD. Minimal invest sum $2000
AM152974 - old one... Doesn't work at 5 digit brokers for now - need to be updated.
Eldorado - Good robot that works under Silver and Gold
Now im testing (but on demo) Runner14 - my new set of robots (8 robots at once).

For this moment safest seems to be AmaxPRO and Armada. Both have full MM. AmaxPRO has also hidden for broker TP and SL levels, just like Eldorado.

Again, your beautiful curve loses its charm when there is nothing to see but the curve. Less than 3 months isn't enough time on the job to make any predictions about anything but we could discuss it if at least the history was available. But these posts with just the analysis page, well they just don't say much.

Compared to Jarratt Davis, 2nd Best Currency Trader 2008 - 2013,

and the BarclayHedge 2014 Rankings,

..this small trial Retail Live Account with Dukascopy,

and the FXCM Demo Account,

Have easily beaten them with just;

11 Trades, 3 Losses ( Live Account)

7 Trades, 2 Losses ( FXCM Demo)

7 Months of Trading;

The goal of the Trading on the small Live Account was to determine if an alternative to Day Trading that could beat benchmark Returns and Top Currency Traders was possible, before moving up to a larger Retail Account. Based on these Returns, feedback from others who have used it and the Statistical Analysis of this System, this was easily achieved.
https://www.myfxbook.com/members/DRFXTRADING/duane/1079693

The Methodology in a nutshell;

Targets 100 to 200 Pips Per Trade;

Uses the Candlestick Patterns of the Daily and 4 Hour Charts for Direction and Entry;

Requires only 2% to 5% Risk Per trade;

Targets the best, High Probability Trades each Month;

Focuses on the major Trends and Consolidation Breakouts of these Time Frames;

The Methodology bypasses the volatility of the Smaller Time Frames and captures the best trades each month. Statistical Analysis and Economic News are not necessary to be profitable. Once the required signals and setups are identified, they have a 90% chance of reaching their targets on their own. Since you only trade 2-3 times per month, you are also minimizing your exposure to market risk which, as the SNB action and fallout shows, can be devastating to trading accounts.

Targets are also accurately set so that you exit trades at the best possible price and Pips, while avoiding unexpected pullbacks such as those associated with the CHF recently.

Sounds too good to be true? It is...

This Methodology requires holding trades and not monitoring them at all for 3- 7 Days on average. This can be a difficult challenge relative to the routine of Day Trading in which we are targeting quick moves in a few hours and sometimes monitoring these trades along the way. With my Swing Trading strategy, these habits can prevent the market from doing what it naturally does in moving towards its larger targets. Once the trade has been assessed to have a high probability of going towards these major targets, interfering with it in anyway because of temporary pullbacks will only reduce the profitability of the trade and the Methodology on a whole.

Focusing on the major moves and avoiding intra-day volatility is how money can be be made Consistently and Safely!

7 months of trading and 11 trades does not make you better than Jarratt Davis.

Never said I was better than him. Just saying that the Returns from only 7 Months are higher than his in those years.

Just stating the facts, interpret what you will from them.

 What surprises me about you is that you are always pumping your silly website, but for some reason when I click your name you only have DEMO accounts posted. It appears you are fishing for clients here on myfxbook to test out your so called 'system'.

  I will be sure to report you for spamming and for not sticking to the topic of the O.P.

 Let us look at some of your past work as PAMM manager....

https://www.rvdmarkets.com/en/trust_management/83087-statistics/

 For some reason those accounts are not posted on his portfolio here on MYFXBOOK..... I wonder why? Anyway it is best you stay away from him, as not only can he not produce a high yeild profit, but he has a problem with stop loss once the trade starts to go against him. I will guess he will blame it on the EA, when the reality is he himself is the 'EA' and pulls the EA thinking the trade will come back to him..... Just so you know.

This is a general statement not as a response to anything in particular but something all new players should know. No matter what you do in this world, there will always be those who can not achieve anything themselves, so they try to tear down others. We call them trolls but they are just people who have no idea why they are here on this planet.

If God is the creator and humans are the sons of God, then it is natural for humans to create. Creating gives us our fullest level of pleasure and self worth. Those that don't create, tear down. If creation is of God, what camp is for those who only tear down?

Humans have the ability to use logic to make our way through life and to figure out what is good for us and what is harmful. Trolls are an irritation, yes, but we should not return hostility to those that are already hurting. I wish I could help them, but I can not so I never respond to trolls, in this way I will at least not add any more negativity to the situation. There is enough hate in this world, let's not add anymore.

The other subject that I would like to share with new investors/traders is to keep your real information to yourself. Why do doctors and lawyers have an off shore trust to keep their wealth in? Because there is always someone who wants to take what you worked for, for themselves. Never show live accounts to anyone not as close as your brother. Why do you think they make demo accounts.

Demos work exactly like real accounts and all the information needed to evaluate any strategy is available on those demo accounts without risk of exposing your real financial value to the bad guys. Loose lips, sink ships.

When the worst thing a troll can say about you is that you don't show live accounts, pat yourself on the back, you are using intelligence instead of emotions to run your life. The trolls in your life don't count for anything. Never let the negativity of others derail your efforts. What you do is not for them anyway, unless of course you came to this world to live your life for the benefit of some troll.

  They are like.... They don't want to abid by the rules from the country in which they live in. You can deflect and call anyone you like a troll, but the reality is if you don't have a live account, no one in their right mind will give you a time of day. Your American, and it very much illegal, based on the S.E.C. rules to manage the account of anyone. Especially those of your own country. You my friend can post as much as you like, but I will be sure to post under you revealing to everyone that you are only a demo trader, and demo trading isn't ANYTHING like real. By you simply claiming that it is, reveals that you have about 4 week experience in trading.

By the way. I manage well over 8 accounts at a time, in which some clients request I do not make the trades public, as that is understandable. Yet, I have obtained all of those clients by posting REAL ACCOUNT, and not one demo.. Currently I am managing an account well over 80k usd. https://www.myfxbook.com/members/Cholipop/clientasof2ndfeb/1165129
 Not, because I am a DEMO queen, or a fisher like forexassistant but because clients want to see what REAL money has been made, a not what a simulated demo account would of done to their live account....

Lets get back to topic. Just share your trading strategy with real statistical data that proves its accuracy. I know there is no pefect strategy, but there are some strategies that prove to be pretty good.
