Trading for a living? I do!😎

Trading for a living on a 'cent' account can be a real challenge.

Nevertheless, it really depends on which part of the world you spend your 'cent' profits.

I've started trading 10 years ago. First few years have been very difficult as I started to learn the rope, but I am finally able to trade for living in the past 3 years. I trade fully manual because I don't use indicators. Swing sequence, structure, pivot, fibonacci, and Elliott Wave is my bread and butter.

Hi Hendra Lau, if you are willing, would you be kind enough to teach me how to do forex trading? I'm a newbie. I just started last august in studying forex. I really need a mentor. Thanks. :)

Sure, that is why you needed to make a comment... That is why you keep your cent account PUBLIC.

People who do not want to show off, don't even comment about themselves in this section. They simply don't care. Only wannabes... And real serious successful traders will not even run cent accounts. If they want statistics, they get the statistics on their main accounts, and keep their accounts PRIVATE on MyFxBook. So good luck with your cent account!

'Trading for a living' is an ambiguous topic.

As seen from above, regardless of whether Ma2t is trading on a cent account or not, she is here because she is passionate and interested in trading Forex or whatever products she enjoys.

Trading for a living is extremely difficult and in its most strictest sense you would essentially be relying entirely on your profits from Forex, very few people can do this and if only these people posted on this website, I can tell you that there would only be a handful (many simply wouldn't care or wouldn't have the time).

We are all here because we know something and want something that others don't. We can all use each other in a productive way and similarly give something back to one another. Our role is to become the best we can be and the only two ways in which we can do this is by a) either helping each other, seeing eye to eye or b) not interacting with those around us and therefore not participating on these social trading sites.

There is no middle ground.

Well said Mr.Curran... i'm agree with your opinion.
a) either helping each other, seeing eye to eye ...
in this case, most of retail traders do like this way, crowd behaviour.
b) not interacting with those around .....
most traders like this are dealer, commercial and non-commercial. but sometimes they expose their opinion to public to see
how the others market participants react
Since this trade bisnis is zero sum game.... minus actually :D each side of participants must have their own strategy to win.
i think u know what i mean.

Thank you and good luck to you all.

My goal is that but unfortunately i did not reached it yet. I have traded the forex market for about one and a half year. I have learned a lot, lossed a lot, and I hope I will one of them who trade for a living next year. I never ever give up! :)

I have been trading for the past five years with the goal of one day trading full time. Although I have not been in the black so far I never give up. That's the key
Forex is about the journey not the destination...

I've been trading for almost 3 years now, had many ups and downs. I'm still learning, and the market is an ever changing beast. Patience is key I've found, and found out the hard way - by loosing lots of money! I've only just reached the stage where I'm making 1 - 2 % per month. Trading for a living is my ultimate goal, and I believe it is one of the best financial goals you can have :)

I'm sure that there are some traders for whom trading is the primary occupation. Of course, on your inital steps it will be quite difficult to earn money with trading, because the process of acquainting with the market might take too much time, that's why I advice traders not to give up their primary occupation until trading starts to bring goofd sums of money, at least those sums which will be enough for a living. All people have different needs, one can live on 4-5k$ per month, while other ones can't live on 15k$ per month. I believe that traders should think more about the development of their skills, but not about money, at least on initial stages.

Forex is a high reward market which makes everyone believe that they can earn a living easily by trading currencies. However the reality is different. Most traders actually lose money instead of making money. Therefore I don’t rely on forex for my daily expenses but maybe when I start earning consistently, I can think of trading for a living.

It's a contributor to my monthly take but I like to make sure I have several income streams for those tougher months.
