Hi there,
I have been with ICMarkets for a year and I can honestly say that this broker is legit.
I really had no issue with them except one time the spread widened for a 100 pips on EUR/CHF after the close of NY and I had a trade open so it stopped me out. That doesn't happen normally, not that wide of spread I mean. Right before and after the NY close spreads widen because of the low volume so if you are a swing trader I would make sure that your stop is not too tight around the close of the NY. When I am in position I temporary manually remove my stop during that time and put it back when volume comes back which doesn't take too long. If you are a day trader than you shouldn't be trading around that time anyways. I take both swing and day trades and I use the MT4 platform and it works flawless, never had any requote.

My tests showed good results in terms of spread, even during news. This broker seems to be among the best ones in the market. I am not quite sure if they are market makers or not, though. Maybe it depends on the account you open with them...

I had found ICMarkets in some rating and decided to check it out. Now I'm also trade there. Good execution, tight spreads, professional CS. Besides it ASIC license and STP model of business make me sure that I deal with honest broker.

Bad customer service.
Their broker works slowly and it made me lose.
You try to do something, their system is waiting for something like 1-3 seconds before that he was doing it.
When I try to sell - the system waits for the price dropped a bit before opening the sale - it does not happen all the time but once it's too much.
All their publication on the lower Spred = fraud.
When I ask for my money back they block me from the chat.

Same here, my SL was not respected and executed 90 pips above! In the Metatrader logs it is visible that they closed the market. I also filled out the trade investigation form which was just time wasting. Just stay away

YES! Exactly the standard account will not work for some EA/ get wrong calculation by EA. I've experiened one of my ea did place reverse order( other's brokers which did not).

for example if u funded 100$ and u came in profit u cant withdraw your money easy
u need to give them Bank account pay the wire fees and after 10 days u get your money

I was IB of this Kitchen. I have 500 dollars at my IB acc and cannot withdrawal - Support say you need 5 client for activate transfer at your acc. But i already invited 30 guys ))
Also they Exequte Orders Around Spread! - They do not use at Standart and ECN accounts the ASK and BID for Open Orders. At standart Spread Bigger but at ECN is Smaller + Comission... they do not care about that and add +1-1.5 pips not in your way around spread

I registered last year and made deposit above $10K. Before I had any chance to start trading, I need money in emergency. I applied for withdrawing all the money. Had no problem at all at that moment.
10 months later, I have enough funding to trade now. I found IC Market got nicer feature, which allow me deposit by credit card at no cost. The spread is tight, the commission is acceptable, though it is not the lowest pricing. Generally, I am happy with this broker.
By the way, I open True ECN account.

Just switched to IC Markets for about a week. Overall experience is good, always positive slippage and some stops do have negative slippage too.
My previous broker only have negative slippage but no positive slippage on limits.
No connection issue for this week of course it's too short to conclude, but I also opened a demo to test other stuff out, demo server has severe freeze, disconnection problem. But not on the live server.

I work on this broker for more than 2 years... Manual & automated systems. I dont experienced really significatives diferences on slippages on demo/real accounts (i have always the same systems on real & demo accounts at the same time to compare).
