I have to express my concerns about the V-Pilot EA’s alarming drawdown of 71.32%. Such a significant drawdown indicates a high level of risk that could severely impact your trading account. If this situation were to occur again, it could lead to substantial losses and affect your overall trading strategy.

Moreover, one of the accounts is a demo. On that demo account, you chose to hide critical performance metrics such as Balance, Equity, Highest, Profit, and Interest. Without these key details, it's difficult to assess the true viability and performance of a strategy, leaving potential investors in the dark about the associated risks. Demo accounts often do not reflect real trading conditions and can mislead traders regarding actual performance.

The real account's monthly gain is only 9.34%, while the demo account reports a monthly gain of 20.49%. This stark difference raises concerns about the sustainability of such returns in real market conditions, particularly given the high drawdown of the real account.

In light of these factors, I highly recommend considering my signal, which has demonstrated over 400% profit since March 2022, all while maintaining a much more manageable 33% drawdown, with an average monthly gain of 5.35%. This performance showcases a commitment to balanced growth and effective risk management, making it a wiser choice for those serious about achieving long-term trading success.

V-pilot EA is an advanced trading system designed to assist traders in automating their strategies for consistent profitability. It incorporates a range of sophisticated features, including:

Martingale Strategy: Allows for doubling of positions after losses to potentially recover losses quickly.
Lot Management: Optimizes lot sizing based on account balance, risk appetite, and market conditions to maximize returns while minimizing risk.
Risk Control Parameters: Ensures safe trading by implementing stop-loss, take-profit, and equity protection to guard against large drawdowns.
Automation: Fully automates trading operations to remove emotional biases and ensure 24/7 market monitoring and execution.
V-pilot EA is designed for both experienced traders looking to automate their strategy and those interested in account management services with a hands-off approach to trading.
Trade smart, grow consistently, adapt always.

I 100% agree with you. Every DD over 50% is alarming. To hide important stuff, using demo accounts is not a sound visit card. One thing is to have the EA still in testing mode (like I have my newbot); another thing is to have something ready to be used in real accounts and to show a demo.

Yeah I agree that drawdown is extremely alarming in this case.
Something good would be at least 5% profit for every 1% drawdown without martingale. At least that what we aim for..

Me and my partner have been the fx space for 12 years (only recently we’ve had some success in strategy development) and it’s honestly impossible to find anyone without the non-shortcut mindset. We want to find like minded traders that only believe in realistic strategies that are profitable without shortcut methods.

We have the ideology that the minimum Calmar ratio to strive for in EA development is 5 (10% dd with at least 50% annual return) and profit factor at least 1.7.

Obviously no martingale, no grid, no hedging, no arbitrage and no tick scalping. Just pure basic risk to reward principles applied to mean reversion opportunities on a live verified account.

We have an example of what we’ve been able to accomplish here below.

https://www.myfxbook.com/members/SATrading/s1-track-record/11189934

8 trading months so far 51.87% profit with 10.55% dd as of today. Feb-April was was off (please read description inside the track record general page).

Also, our account balance is obviously very small but it’s a master account, and routes into all our institutions larger client accounts at the same ratio in case you’re wondering about the account size.

Anyways feel free to make any enquiries to [email protected]

This track is the EA version we offer to the retail market with only two currency pairs, we usually use the strategy for institutions on 19 pairs since they can afford a higher licensing fee.

For the Retail market, we are aiming to help are people that trade less than 100k to hopefully get more people to try a realistic ratio of performance. It’s a win win for us since we don’t need to license our full strategy (since it’s not worth it for us) but just a strong combo involving 2 good pairs to be the aid that we once seeked many years ago. Obviously there’s usual EA licensing fees so please enquire after you review the track record, it will speak for itself.

Great points, everyone!
Just a thought—I've been looking algo bot and found one too, and it seems to have results of gain 80.8% on Myfxbook. I suggest everyone to check it.

This is a grid/averaging style EA (not one trade at a time). Only 2 months track. Over the long term, these are the type of strategies that can and will blow accounts. I would beware.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
I get what you're saying, but I think it's important to remember that every strategy has its risks. Grid/averaging EAs can do well short-term, but they depend a lot on market conditions. It’s always good to be careful and only risk what you’re okay with losing, especially with strategies that can get tricky over time. But its working well for me. It has demo too with previous months track.

Yes, every strategy has its risk, but in no world is knowingly operating a strategy with the eventuality of blowing it worth the risk of the short-term gain. Unless your world is gambling.

@Daniel424 it also seems that your 86% gain account is manipulated by constant deposits and withdrawals.. especially for the month of September. Unless you can explain, and maybe I'm missing something.
