A normal trader like myself would be very cautious upon hearing such reports of scam. In fact, one such incident is more than enough to make me close my account. Instead, jeevan jumps to the broker's defense so willingly. Who's side are you on?

*Max*: 'A normal trader like myself would be very cautious upon hearing such reports of scam. In fact, one such incident is more than enough to make me close my account.'
I'm very happy to hear such a thing. The main goal of publishing this story was of course to try to get my money back, and I got a part of it, and I guess will never get the remaining, but it's ok, now the case is closed for me in term of money (but I will still do my best to shut down Exness). The most important thing after that is to try to have people to NOT open an account with them despite their good conditions on paper, or to close their account if they have one.
What you are saying Max is the smart way to think. I feel quite bad for having continued so long with them despite some damn clear signs: Continuous invalid prices so I couldn't often enter or exit a trade WHEN I really wanted, quotes and spread manipulation, they restared the VPS they provide without notice (so my EA stoped working), and a just unbelievable support, the worst you can imagine of (If you wanted to try to be as bad, you wouldn't manage to do it !). With what happened after all this, when I got stuck with my positions because they just disabled the trading on the pair, and then scamed me with their tricks, I kept on asking myself: But how the f*ck can I have been so stupid to not run from this broker sooner ? In fact, I'm still asking myself the question ;)
I guess Jeevan may be a happy customer of Exness. Until you get scamed, you feel happy to benefit from amazing spreads with no fees (better than on LMAX) and very good swaps. If you loose your money, no problem. My conviction is that Exness is realy a SCAM broker (again, I'm st*pid as I knew since the beginning the conditions seemed to be too good to be true), and problems really start if you win too good money. When you start earning, as long you don't withdraw too much, they let you continue, there are good probabilities you loose again (as traders we know how forex works). And if you win too much, at one point, they decide to scam you to not pay your profits.
*Jeevan*, you do as you want, it's your money. But let me recommend you to carefully read all the thread where I posted the whole story on FPA (Scam alert folder: name 'Exness Scam') and then think about it for a few minutes if you really want to continue to try to win money with this 'broker'. If you make some good money, there are good chances you will in fact loose everything ... Anyway, it's up to you.
*Jiggy*: I'm very confident that there is no risk for your money with Oanda and FXCM, except of course if they run out of business. But they're not supposed to, as they hedge all their customer's positions and don't trade for themselves. So very little risk (yeah, like Knight Capital, lol or some other before). We are talking of probably the 2 biggest (and oldest) forex market makers of the industry. FXCM is a big public company listed on NYSE and Oanda is part of a Switzerland important financial company. These are VERY legitimate brokers, and you can deposit tens of thousands with them without any fear. Just to be noted: With them in UK, you money is garanteed by a government protection fund up to 50K GBP if I'm not wrong, same in SG for Oanda. Don't know for the US (not sure if brokers are covered by protection funds there or not)
'I believe it is NOT your fault. You have invested the time, money and energy for those profits. You trusted them, and they betrayed your trust. Forget bonuses, but I do think you should get back your capital + profits in it's entirety.'
Of course it's not my fault, I did some very legitimate trading. I 100% agree with all you wrote. Still makes me happy to read it, because I read some absurd things on some forums (maybe Exness was behind, or just some idiot) defending the Scammer (Exness) ;) There wasn't any bonus involved, and I do feel too that I should get back my money in this entirety, but that's NOT going to happen. I got a part of it, and it's OK. I hope Exness will never get the Cysec licence they are trying to get (if Cysec does its job, will be the case. I don't see why they wouldn't) and that NZ FSP will take care of Exness with the informations I will provide them. I would be very very happy if they are shut down.

Mevo: Thank you for your reassurance on my two brokers. My best wishes and prayers are with you.
Jeevan: I'm quite surprised to read your posts. Even if I got the best possible support and quotes from my broker, I would still be on my guard after reading the OP. Please be careful.

Jeevan: 'i would be the first person to kick exness or any other broker if they follow unfair means to defeat a trader'
Oh yes ? You can start right now to kick Exness' ass then (All the evidence are on FPA as stated in my previous post)
To me (only my point of view), what you say is absurd ! Why do you want to wait until YOU get scamed when you have all the proofs that they scamed some of their other customers ? And then what ? You will complain ? You know, the problem with a broker is that THEY have your money, if they don't want to send it back to you, you can complain, it will be very useful, you will see ...
Have you read the thread on FPA ?

This is my account until I got stuck because Exness disabled the trading on the pair I was working on and didn't want me to be able to withdraw my profits. First down on the chart (account went again to 0) is a loss.
Sharp downs after that are partial withdrawals.
Jeevan I was wrong, and I always admit my errors, you're not an idiot, you are far worse than this: YOU WORK FOR EXNESS.
(Pretty amazing how many nickname-acounts Exness use to do their propaganda on forums or to post fake positive reviews)

Its all going on here, hints and allegations. I read the previous pages, not sure how you guys caught out jeevan as a broker / spy. Max and mevo must have some jedi tricks... i cant see through the smoke
I currently prefer pepperstone as a broker, i have had no issues at all for about a year. Other brokers have their small problems.
Oanda - as you mention and i have experienced one cannot hedge, so drop that like its hot unless if it works for you.
Vantage - constantly have a no feed / no fill its like the markets not moving so the trade is rejected, so for fast execution its not great.
Alpari NZ / russia is also one of my favourite. I really like the myalpari online account, one can open demos to any value and leverage and they run forever (until left for a month). Leverage is good, execution no probs, big company etc, they are a close second for me.
IBfx and fxcm i am still testing with.

Mevo, do you really wanna kill exness, i can understand your anger, i probably would be fuming, but just saying maybe your energy could be better spent trading like you were and making big buck. They will loss enough clients through this. I just think one mistake and the broker should be shot, okay if thats the way we should play then maybe i need to rethink the approach. Ofcourse if the service is good i stay with a broker, then i look at leverage and company profile.
If i continue with say Alpari, the leverage drops off, as in the more millions you have the leverage lowers to 1:50
With peppersone if can stay at 1:400. But they dont have white label and they are not as big, so all of this should concern us when you think of MFGlobal whom i had an account with. Seems the safest is saxobank but no one mentions them on forums very much. I think they have lowered startup capital and perhaps have metatrader platforms now.. anyone know?

Jaypipin: This thread was started about EXNESS. I have a description of what happened to me on the first post on the first page and 6 full pages of the whole story published on FPA, with my account statements, all emails exchanged, chat sessions and so on. And EXNESS finally admitted that they 'restrained' (they don't want to use the word 'disabled') trading on USD/LTL, and finally (after weeks of crazyness) even if they didn't admit their error (which I am convinced was NOT an error, but done on purpose, but that's only my point of view), reclosed my trades again, correctly this time. So the first reason of my loss has been corrected, not the second one, which obviously never will.
It is totally unacceptable that they disabled a pair with a customer having position on it without notice. And that they drove me mad for months and tried everything they could to cause me losses and NOT do anything to get me out of the situation.
Add to that clear proofs of quotes and spread manipulation (published CLEARLY on FPA with all evidence needed) and constant [invalid price] error preventing traders from entering or getting out of trades when EXNESS doesn't want (all evidences on FPA) with a absolutely HORRIBLE 'support' (again, just read a little on FPA and make an opinion by yourself) which is TOTALLY st*pid or acting as totally st*pid, and you have what I feel is a SCAM broker which tries to rob its customers as a business model.
Having better spreads than the best ECNs around with no fee and 36% commission on top of that given to IBs, I feel that they can't do anything else than scamming profitable traders.
Now, if after all this, someone comes and start to defend Exness as being a very good and honest broker. What do you assume ? Even if you don't have any jedi power ?
1. this guy is st*pid
2. he is related to the SCAM broker.
No ? Now, Jeevan admited that he didn't even look on FPA, so, maybe solution 1 is the good one...
What are YOU arguing about ? That small problems can happen with every broker. OF COURSE ! Oanda's no hedge is NOT a problem, it's their choice and their policy. Alpari and Fxcm are very legitimate brokers. I don't know much Vantage and IBfx myself, so won't talk about something I don't know.
We're not talking about small slippage or an execution problem on one trade once a while here. We're talking of 3000 MBB (metal currency account) of LOSSES caused ON PURPOSE by a 'broker' which doesn't want to hear anything for weeks and keeps to tell you BS. Now, my final loss is 'only' around 1000 EUROS with what EXNESS finally corrected after seing that I won't abandon like I guess some other they had to deal with.
What is your point Jaypipin ? At least you're not telling that EXNESS is wonderful and that they didn't do anything wrong. Jeevan did.

Jaypipin: Don't worry about me, I have far enough energy to trade correctly AND to take the needed time to bring EXNESS down. And I will, whatever it takes. Such people shouldn't be allowed to try to scam people. Someone has to do something about it.Trust me, I will take care of this. They really scammed the wrong guy.
If you want to trade BIG (I don't have the money to trade that big, so it's not my problem), you won't have more than 1:50 or 1:100. That's what prime brokers propose to financial institutions or hedge funds. 1:500 or more is a retail thing.
If you want to have your money secured, stick with a broker who has a fund compensation from a reputable country, like the UK or SG. Try LMAX. 50K GBP are garanteed by UK governement if LMAX fails. Cyprus has such a scheme too, but maybe Cyprus can be less trusted ? Not sure, it's only up to every person's apreciation.
Saxobank is not very popular because they didn't propose MT4. Now they recently do it, but not all their pairs are available on MT4.

A *SCAM* is when a broker doesn't let you withdraw your money one way or another. PERIOD.
I don't talk of small problems that can occur with any broker (usually they do something to fix it)
And NO, SCAM brokers are just a few that give this industry a bad name.
