I did some research on this broker since I also had some problems with them.
1. They are not regulated:
Stay away from all brokers who are not regulated, you can lose your money easily and cannot get help to get it back.
2. They claim on their website (“About InvestFX” page) that “We offer full transparency throughout all processes”, but:
On “Contact Us” page they give their address as: Level 1, 1 Dickens Street, Napier 4110.
If you google this address you find that it’s a virtual address, so called “Post Shop” only with email boxes, but no physical office, staff, etc.
Many other suspicious FX brokers share the same address, eg. BelforFX, StarfishFX, CarryFX, IntegerFX, SaudiQuote, Pegasus Markets, Tradesto, Rexor Investments, FX Dynamics, and many more. Just check this address on Google.
New Zealand seems to be a trustworthy country, like USA, Australia, etc. But in terms of Forex it’s same like Bahamas, Dominica, Cyprus< Madagascar, etc. It’s heaven for shadowy financial businesses since no licenses are required, you can use Postal Address without opening a physical office, etc. New Zealand is a great country, but needs money urgently, so they accept Forex brokers willingly and other unregulated companies.
This broker’s PHYSICAL address is in Egypt, not New Zealand:
If you check the broker’s IP (incoming emails, Skype, website, etc.) it’s:
41.206.148.77:54568 = Egypt
Their CEO is Hamed Eltahan, his Skype is: hamed.tahan
In his profile it says he is located in Cairo, Egypt, and his website is www.investfx.com. Check the screenshot to make sure it’s true:

3. Their bank account is in Latvia, another suspicious thing about this broker. Below is the bank account number and name on the account:
LV19 LATC 0501 1682 1001 0 (LV is country symbol for LATVIA)
INVEST FOREIGN EXCHANGE LIMITED BUSINESS RESULTS (HB) LTD. MUNROE ST. 20-22 NAPIER.NZ
The name on this account is in New Zealand
4. Here is what they write about the security of your funds:
“When it comes to WHERE your funds are stored, size and grade matter a great deal. While you might not worry too much about where you’ve put your personal checking account (although we’d recommend that you do), the location of your investment funds is extremely important. InvestFX partners only with global, investment-grade banks. All first-tier banks have an A rating from Standard & Poor’s, an A2 rating from Moody’s and an A rating from Fitch.”
Your Funds are not safe at all, the bank they use has nothing to do with A-rated banks, this formula about fund safety is used on lots of shadowy broker websites, it’s a “copy and paste” from some cheap template.
Their office is registered in New Zealand, their physical office and Headquarters are in Egypt, but bank account is in Latvia. So how can you get your money back if you have problems with this broker? Where would you go if they cheat you out of your money?
5. As I said above, their website is a copy of some templates for new FX brokers, just a few things are changed their, but you can find many similar pages on other brokers. Lots of things there are not true or very general without stating any details, just smart sounding words and statements without any deep meaning.
6. The spread I found on their website is very high, for example: GBPUSD 11.9 pips, EURCHF 36.5 pips, USDCHF 31.7 pips, etc, but other brokers offer for those pairs spread between 2.0-5.0 pips. Check the screenshot with those spreads taken recently: https://gyazo.com/6774b182f57cefb6cac68b7674479163
7. There might be many more things like those about InvestFX if you search further on their website, Google and Forex Forums.
I strongly suggest you stay away from this broker or withdraw your money ASAP, if you don’t want to lose it.
They are NOT regulated, use 3 countries (New Zealand, Egypt, Latvia) which makes any claim to get your money back impossible, and their website a cheap ready-to-use template that fits any broker and doesn’t describe the true services, it’s designed to attract clients promising lots of things that in reality are not true as I showed you above.
There are over 500 brokers right now, choose the best ones, not the suspicious ones.
