Hi there! This is my 1st time here. Ive been trading for almost 2 years now and learning a whole bunch of strategies. I have settle down on a trendline + fibonacci + AVWAP strategy. I wanna take my trading to the next level. The pair i am trading now is XAU and USD/JPY. Any advice that you can give me?

use these charts only
everything will be ok soon ...

Hey this is pretty cool insight. Well right now i have DXY at my tradingview. And for the main forex pair im following some recommendation of 6/8 major forex pair with DXY like the one you show in your attachment. I can see the inverse correlation of these pair along with DXY. Is this some insight that you particularly do?

Personally, I do not recommend TradingView at all and only suggest using MetaTrader.
I have numerous reasons for this preference, which is why I am unable to guide you on this matter.

why is that?
Keep fighting

I heard it is effective. Do you find the correction timing is really hardest part of strategy?

The journey ahead is long and challenging. It’s a path that requires you to pay a heavy price. Sometimes, it might seem easier to become a doctor or an engineer, as the time and cost required for those professions may not be any less than what you’ll face as a Forex trader.

Good answer

So, I have one questions from you right now, how can I manage my fund well if I'm losing my investments in crypto, imagine them as short term investments but not exactly like trades, do I keep selling and bu7ying or do I just let it ride or sit out the entire thing?

I feel you can start with major pairs like EURUSD & keep it with simple moving averages. But what is you current strategy?

Agreed! I feel the same that can start with major pairs. I'm focusing on mix of price action and trend following. What strategy do you usually stick with?

One of the best strategies is to use moving averages.
Utilize the numbers **25**, **100**, and **400**—these are among the most effective.
Wait for a correction, and once it ends, make your entry without fear.

Nice approach! Do you use any other indicators other than Moving averages?

There are many reasons, one of which is its delay, and it's better to track down the other reasons yourself on YouTube.

In this regard, I must say that one of the best time frames is the 5-minute time frame because you can trade during the day and close your trades before reaching the closing hours of the market, which causes spreads to widen.

In general, I do not agree with investing in digital assets. As long as you can invest in real and valuable stocks like Apple, Boeing, Dow Jones, etc., why should you invest in currencies that have no stability or news?.....

The best traders are always those who control their strategies with the simplest tools. I also only use two indicators, Moving Average and Autostick, but I consider price action and money management a lot.

Agreed! Keeping it simple works best. How are you using money management in your strategy?

Money management is a key aspect of any trading strategy. It ensures long-term survival in the market, even during downturns. For me, I use strict position sizing rules—risking only 1-2% of my total capital per trade. Additionally, I always set stop losses and take-profit targets based on market structure and ensure a favorable risk-to-reward ratio, typically 1:3 or better.

Would love to hear how you approach money management or any specific tools you rely on for tracking and adjusting risk in your trades!

Adapt, analyze, and achieve — one trade at a time.

I'd similar but adjust it based on volatility. Have you tweak risk per trade?
