HOW BIG IS THE DRAWDOWN is everything (which is calculated from the open positions) and then comes the gain.
Which one?
a) 800% gain, 80% drawdown
b) 80% gain, 8% drawdown
System works 8mo well and then comes the drawdown mo. In case A you will loose 80% of your accumulated equity when in case B you loose only 8%.
Think about it.
---
Show your open positions and we will stop whining ;)
SG
btw. this can be solved manually by going through the trades and checking what the price did during the positions, but I am not going to do this because I am not interested enough...

Automated or not. 50% loss is a HUGE. It is gambling not trading.
Where do you see this '50% loss' you mention?
There is none. Just equity on 50%. That not a loss.
Impressive win rate. This 50% equity makes me a little bit suspicious aswell...

This is not a system for those who does not like over 200 pip drawdowns (for open trades) while average win trade is only 23.9 pip. Just check those history trades kept open over 1-2 days.
But if you forget that then the gain and the closed trades drawdown is very attractive at this moment ;)

I see you are very focused with your gains. Do not forget that there WILL BE times when your system stops to work as well as it does now. Then you will learn what the 'drawdown' and risk control means (DD must be calculated from the open positions not from the closed trades as this site does).
But as I said. This is not a system for those who does not like +200 pip drawdowns (btw. that Gold trade were +700 pip loss) while average win is only 23.9. 4 big losses in a row may be near 3000 pip loss. At this point it means 40% loss of equity.
For those who does not care this may be an excellent system...
And what comes to your question the answer normally is propably. If you want the tight drawdowns your win rate will get lower giving you more losing trades but this is not allways the case. Go through your trades with different setups and see the results.
btw. may I ask why you do not disclose your open positions?

'Fill or Kill' was right i use positions opened in both directions. So there in no such risk how its can be pretended.
Yes my equity is low , but its impossible to have hy equity with such style of trading. Yes i have position buy eur/usd Price 1.5091 , but it dont means that i lost even 1$ from this position. Its my style of trading. I get profit . What a problem ?
about Gold trade with +700 pip loss . I dont knew how its on your broker , but in Admiral Markets 700 pip loss in gold is less than 80 pip in eur/usd (if calculate in dolars).
About open positions:
There is few people who pay for this. I dont thing its very use such thisg as signals , but its their
decision.
Sorry of my bad english , i dont use it in real life. So i dont like to write any explanations.
P.s some people a little bit aggressive in my sistem judgement , but i cant understan why . I am not shouting
on the forums that i searching for investors or have a very nice EA to sell .

No problems with your english. I am in the same 'boat' too ;)
You look things from quite different angle than I. So this is the reason...
Nice to know your broker. Better picture now.
btw. I trade gold (futures) directly in CME:Globex (no shop between me and the exchange). Only full contracts so 1 tick is 0.1 -> 100 ozs/c $10/tick/contract. Here is the spec for it https://www.cmegroup.com/trading/metals/precious/gold_contract_specifications.html (nothing new for you I think).
And again ;) May I ask why you do not disclose your open positions?
Anyway. Have a good trading

are you a member? do you trade on the floor? I heard the seats are now going for $1 million. how much are you paying for clearing?
on globex gold the minimum is one tick but what he trades at his broker is cash gold, and it's quoted by the full price. my broker is giving me 1083.23/58 right now so the spread is about 3 ticks, or 30 pips in fx terms. Theoretically the minimum change would be 1 cent, but you know.
