Hello everyone! I am new to myfxbook so please let me know if I do something wrong!
I am Forex trader but live in the US. I have had issues getting a good, reliable broker and was wondering if there are solutions to this? If no solutions can anyone recommend a good broker? I use my own custom EA's on MT5 just fyi.

Thank you guys!

Depends on what you want. There are plenty of regulated brokers in the US but they are subject to the strict rules put on them by said regulators. You can be happy with that and go with them or as some do look offshore for more favourable conditions.
If you can't spot the liquidity then you are the liquidity.

I appreciate the feedback. I guess I need to figure out what I want first! It's been frustrating for me to find a good broker offshore because of my citizenship.. I guess that's the issue I've been running into. There are a lot of brokers but it seems the ones that will open an account for me have high spreads/slippage

FXChoice, leverage 1:200 and Tradersway, leverage up to 1:1000 still accepting US residents last I checked. Good trading conditions and no problems withdrawing money.

I'm thinking Tradersway wasn't taking new us customers but honoring current ones but I could be off. I do have a Tradersway account but I have issues with selling my signals, the slippage is high. Bedsides that fact I really liked using them. Well I appreciate your time and I'll look into FXchoice 🙏

Welcome to the Myfxbook community.
There're many brokers support US clients, you could choose one of them: Oanda, Ic-markets, IG-Market, and FXChoice. They're well-regulated and reputed brokers.
Happy trading.

This is true most probably for higher amounts of money. I had with them one account of about 1000, made some small profit, then withdraw all without any problem, but other people with 50K or higher had problems, see the FPA reviews.

It will depend on your choice. There are some brokers in the US who maintain regulations and you can get information online or from Google if you want.

Trade with regulated offshore brokers that offer a wide range of options for trading and advanced software for analyzing exchanges around the world.

As a fellow US trader, I feel your pain, or at least I did when I first started looking for a broker. I wound up with CedarFX, they're very good but also use MT4. Wishing you luck in the search if you still haven't settled on a broker.
