Hi users, I'm guessing this post won't even make it to the forum but if it does, I would like to know if anyone else is experiencing this issue.
I've noticed this issue at MT4 startup or restarts and it only happens with only 3 MT4 terminals out of 10 MT4 terminals that I'm simultaneously running. This event has occurred only a total of 4 times.
I've written to myfxbook support about this but in typical disregarding fashion, I was told it was due to my anti-virus program recognizing FTP publishing as an IRC protocol.
Either they don't know what they're talking about or they think I don't know what I'm talking about:
1. FTP is port 21 (or something similar for SFTP)
2. my myfxbook publishing occurs every 5 minutes on all 10 MT4 terminals so why would I only have these 3 isolated one-time incidents of my anti-virus blocking IRC communication between my MT4 and myfxbook server 184.154.61.210
Here are the three port blocking events ever recorded; again, I've been running MT4 terminals for a very long time on myfxbook with FTP (port 21) publishing every 5 minutes.
If anyone else is having this issue, my guess is that this occurs on only profitable accounts? That's my initial guess but it is suspicious and I would like to see if any other users are experiencing this suspicious activity.
Please don't post senseless comments.
I'm using McAfee VirusScan + AntiSpyware.
Here are the three (isolated) events:
1. 6/14/2016 1:08:29 AM Blocked by port blocking rule ~\TERMINAL.EXE Anti-virus Standard Protection:Prevent IRC communication 184.154.61.210:6667

3. 7/11/2016 12:00:04 AM Blocked by port blocking rule ~\TERMINAL.EXE Anti-virus Standard Protection:Prevent IRC communication 184.154.61.210:6669
