there is no way to ignore the importance of demo , but we are not serious when trading , because no real money there is and no emotions for that reason.

yes without demo how are you gona know what the live trading environment is really like? definitely helps see if your trading style /strats fit well with what the broker offers. the only thing that cant be replicated in demo as with live is issues such as slippage

the path of a professional trader is simple
demo trade till you see you can have a good consistent graph on your myfxbook account
live trade with little funds and small lots till your emotions are lessened
Scale up your account till it becomes a mode of living

To go big you have to start small and from somewhere, don't try to hack the path , you will regret.

very true.demo is only way to see the real spreads the broker offers and see if their leevrage options are good for you

Demo trading is a very good practice for newbies as well as experienced traders. Demo trading helps a trader in formulating strategies and also helps in testing them. Demo trading provides the same experience as live trading. Demo trading is the best platform to gain experience in forex trading. It provides a newbie with a basic idea of how forex trading works and also gives an understanding of the trading platform.

The beginner should use demo account minimum for three months, sometimes many brokers organize demo contest with real money prizing. Newcomers can join here. It could be great to acquire real trading exeprince.

I also advocate for new traders to be using demo trading as much as possible before they start trading on real accounts. It's a safe way of testing a trading strategy because you stand to lose nothing, compared to a real account

I think traders' mindset might would be different when using live account and demo, but I also agree they should use demo before run into the real market.

I agreed with you. New traders will get benefit from demo trading but my point of view different. I think also should trade in real and invest small money on it. I read a story Go check here: https://bit.ly/2ZkWRi5

Demo accounts have a purpose, and serve all new traders well to practice and apply their knowledge as they go without risk, and also for testing new ideas and strategies.

For me, the one thing demo trading lacks is the ability to learn trading mindset and emotional control. Micro accounts are also a very important step in the trading journey as well.

A demo account is a good tool for any trader with which you can try new strategies without losing money on a real account

Demo trading can be good for testing out strategies, but you are never linked to the emotion of losing money. I would always recommend when you are confident to deposit a small amount and do tiny lot sizes. That way you can learn risk management, and accept losses/wins.

Just for testing - my opinion.
Demo is not a toy - coz you think if you are not losing money on demo you won't lose them on live. FALSE.
When it's a demo account you trade with really high risks. And you carry the same attitude to live.
and BAM! losing all your money.
Use demo just to test out strategies. that's all.

I also used the demo in the beginning to become a little familiar with trading and see how it all works and if I like it before making a deposit to my account. It sounds like a very useful thing to me and I'm very glad that we are given the opportunity to 'test' a broker before deciding whether it's worth your time and your money at all.
It's also very smart to use demo account to test your trading systems. I'll now do the same, it'll probably help me very much to advance and not be afraid to take risks with real money.
