Forex trading takes a lot of discipline. If you ever want to be successful as a forex trader, then starting out as a demo trader is the best education you can give yourself. Once you feel confident of your skills and strategies, you can move on to live trading.

Demo trading is a must to gain trading experience. Basic knowledge cannot be acquired without demo trading. When I join new trading, I can develop skills by doing demo trading for a long time. Every new trader should have at least 6 months of demo practice.

True! Demo accounts work great for familiarizing a new trader with the market. Even I started trading through paper currency on the demo accounts of IG and Fxview. And I still use them for testing out new strategies before applying them on my live Fxview account.

I am using MT4/Mt5 demos with IFC markets. I doubt if I will ever get to evaluate fxview. They have some issues with their account creation process.
Shouldn't be a problem with a demo account atleast. Btw, what’s the issue?

Not the demo, but the live one. I tried twice to create my account but rejected both times. Filled in the info correctly as well.
Might i know if you are trying from US? If yes, please note, fxview doesn’t accept US residents.

demo accounts are the exact replicas of live accounts, and present real market conditions and one can practice as long as he/she wants.
But since funds aren't involved, effect of emotions is least in demo. The trading experience is too different from live.
