I have an idea on how to track slippage and spread on each order. It will only work for automated trading systems though (or at least I am not aware of a solution that would work in manual trading as well).

My EA is programmed to track spread and slippage and it currently outputs it to Journal. If it hit some script on myfxbook.com with parameters including some identification, open spread, close spread, open slippage, close slippage and order # instead, we could track slippage and spread.

I agree that this is rather a complicated solution, but my EA is a scalper and as my account grows, the slippage increases and I really need to keep an eye on it, otherwise it will start losing money. Currently, I need to spend quite a lot of time re-writing it to Excel :-/

In case you are interested, I am willing to co-operate on writing a MQL4 function, which the other traders could add to their EA's to track the spread & slippage on MyFXBook.

It's a nice idea, but not sure if traders will agree to re-write their EA's to accommodate this feature. It will be also an issue for traders who don't have/own the source code.
