Here is the complete version that will work on any demo account. I have not created the user guide to include the MACD as yet or a lite version.
EURJPY seems to have the best results so far. Although it will profit on most pairs given a 5 year back test, it is the equity curve as shown above that I like to see before posting a set file. The set file that created the results above are included.
Enjoy!

In order to use the MACD, make sure that the UseTimeStart variable is set to false. The included set file has this done already. This set files uses 7 of the 8 ordervalues, so a minimum balance of $2000 is needed (or $200 on an IBFX mini account).

Hi Askew,
Version 2.6 adds the MT4 MACD indicator to the initialization of the trading sequence. Much more reliable than time only as the conditions present themselves more often than once per day.
New version and set files can be found a few posts above.
Enjoy!

Hi Askew,
That is correct. In backtesting, $2000 per .01 is accurate. The included set file will use up to 7 orders in sequence, so a higher balance is required. I am working on a set file that will only need $500 per .01 using 4 orders in sequence.
$47,000 Balance
Order1= .23
Order2 = .46
Order3 = .92
Order4 = 1.84
Order5 = 3.68
Order6 = 7.36
Order7 = 14.72
This version has all variables listed so people can back test on their own. If the included set file is used, it will trade automatically if either UseTimeStart or UseMACDalert is set to TRUE. But not both, choose one or the other for automated trading. 😄

MACD. It uses the default MT4 MACD settings with the included set file. If you want to see the MACD, just load the MACD indicator. The same settings for the indicator at default is the same as the EA uses. 12,26, 9.
The conditions are more reliable as time only is simply that....whatever conditions exist at that time creates the channel. More like gambling than trading. The MACD can occur more than once per day and it can be adjusted for backtesting more pairs and time frames for automatic trading.

Correct. You do not need to load the MACD, the EA will use it internally.
MACD is more reliable.The conditions are more reliable than time because time "only" is simply that (time of day)....whatever conditions exist at that time (of day) creates the channel. More like gambling than trading. I started with time of day to create a repeatable point to create the channel to test the trading algorithm.
The MACD can occur more than once per day and is a more accurate representation of market flow and it can be adjusted for backtesting more pairs and time frames for automatic trading.
