Or, it could be he deposited more funds into his account. :) Possibly managing other people's money as well. But, the way this forex world seems to work, I would guess maybe you are right.

No, it doesn't. Absolute gain, in my opinion, is useless. I move money in and out of my accounts all the time so each time I deposit money, the absolute gain percentage goes down because the profit is calculated on the total amount of funds that have been deposited into the account which gives you the absolute gain percentage. But when you withdraw money, the absolute gain percentage stays the same - it doesn't readjust itself when you withdraw money. If I continue to move money in and out, my absolute gain will start going into negative territory.

Well, broker looks like Oanda due to leverage 1:20 as nobody seems to use that, so why would this person if he is 'scamming' people to invest with him?

I wonder why people would 'lock' everything though if they were for real? Makes no sense to me.... So until he 'unlocks' everything, in my book it is most likely a scam. :(

average gains of 20-30 pips with holding times of up to a week indicate he is using no or extreme stop losses and waiting for price to return in his favour.

Equity has previously dropped as low as 38%

2 big red X's in my opinion, definately not a suitable investment.
