I am yet to see any slippage with pending orders. In retail forex 99% liquidity is provided by your broker, so talking about liquidity in regards to filling your order is nonsense unless you trade directly with bank and execute 100-lots positions. Liquidity all are concerned about influence market moves (they become unsustainable which is good for MDP) and spreads that rise (which is bad but if spread is over the top MDP won't trade).

If you change your risk, you need to do it soon.

That is correct. If you are trading with a dealing desk broker, you won't have your slippage increased. You will start seeing longer fill times and requotes. You will only see greater slippage with ECN and STP brokers.

I don't see any point in trading with broker that would slip you constantly be it MDP or something else. It only means their market making ability or their liquidity provider's market making ability sucks or non-exist. Market making is good for traders, otherwise spreads would be huge and slippage dramatic. Thus said, my broker is also ECN/STP. But this model of operating does not forbid to make market as long as they always pass the best price, be it from liquidity providers or themselves.

Why would you want to sell it. You could easy make back your purchase money in a few trades or even in one trade.

Selling takes soo much effort and for what... $100 that is the price of a used toothpick in the forex world

On what do you base your statement? I have almost tripled my money in less that 6 months. if that's worthless than you need to stop wasting this forums time. Why don't you show your results with this ea on myfxbook? If you had poor results that led to that statement I can understand that.

Same as with manual trading: you need to have a portfolio of trading methods for different trading conditions. Currently I have FGB down but manual trading offsets odd MDP losses and slowly builds account up.. But as you say when time is right MDP rocks.

hey MetaCoder, let us know what you have experienced with MDP, and you broker and VPS. Maybe we can help you sort it out.

I think my mistake is I don't trust enough my own trading, despite the fact I am positive most of the time..

Frankly, I cannot make this EA profitable for me. This EA will place trades on spikes and hope for the best.

You have described the trading style of every EA ever created, not including the spike part. EAs are literally playing a game of statistics. It requires a human to process enough info to make 'informed' decisions about trades. To even approach human capacity, a system would require a mainframe to function.

Small loss for me today, mostly offset by manual gains. Still sad to see day gone in red after making successful trades myself.

2% loss, MDP is unable to perform for last couple of weeks, this is sad.
I think that developer should run new optimization and deliver a new version to us.
Market has changed very much comparing to spring/summer
