Usually when NFP is on 1st of the month, it's moved for 1 week, perhaps same rule is when NFP is on 2nd of the month too.

MDP is still alive! +2.1% (2 trades), +3.3 % (4 trades), +4.7 % (3 trades) on the 3 accounts.
Cheers

Hey Kaptain,
better luck next time!
How are you doing overall with MDP for January and February?

Well, January was at a loss of 16%, February was alright with a gain of 19.6%

But why did the thing not traded today? I checked the demo account and it traded (not meaning the demo is any better than the live account).

Well being out of a position is also a position.

~10,1% for me today in 6 trades :) NumOrders_Level 0, Additional_Channels 8, Risk 1,5%. Are these settings ok or too agressive? First test for me with a small account and 1:50 leverage @ Oanda.

There are three main possibilities why MDP doesn't trade or trades less:
- smoothed price-feed of the broker
- spread too high
- slow order opening by broker resulting in opening-errors because of price-change in the meantime
Just my two cents!

Kaptain, the loss in January is rather big, there should be better brokers to use MDP with.

By the way, the official demo is trading worse than my live account 1 this year so far 😎
Does that mean that Thinkforex demo conditions are even worse than my broker's live?! I opened a live account at Thinkforex last year. Good luck, that I didn't fund it! 😲

Happy trading everybody!

Adjust the Ad. Ch. to 1. If you rise the Ad. Channels the order frequency will rise.

@Eddie: Looking at the account in your profile, this doesn't seem like MDP trading. Trades holding time is much too long. Your are lucky that TP was reached and not SL. SL and TP weren't adjusted, from the look of it. Check your trading journal for errors.
Settings seem ok, though, but number of simultaneous order should be lowered, I suggest.
Good luck.

As one can see the expert itself didn't try to modify orders after that error, however debug-information of the EA itself placed in the chart didn't show any error. What did go wrong there?

Somehow I can't edit my last post, so here is the error, after which the bot didn't modify any order until they hit T/P:
[qote]
16:09:07 MillionDollarPipsEURUSD_1.2.0 EURUSD,M1: 37: WARN following error blocked our last trading command (REQUOTING + REPEATING) : invalid stops
Before that error the bot did modify the orders in seconds, as you can see in the log above.

@Wahjay: Ob both my accounts shown in my profile OpenTime is about 500 ms, execution/modificationTime both approx. 350 ms or less. According to my experience and watchiing MDP trade, OpenTime up to 1s is still ok, but ModificationTime should be below 500 ms, at least. The higher this time is the less SO I would use.
Some here boast much faster times and I am still on the lookout for such fast brokers.

Everybody: Please PM for good brokers, should be regulated, preferably FSA UK. Your help shall not be in vain 😄
Thanks!

Hi Fred, my Avg. Exec. time is 610ms; Avg Open time is 1229ms; Avg Modify time is 504ms. I'm using forexVPS latency time from my Broker is 21ms. My MDP trading sometime triggered sometime not. I'm thinking switch to CNS vps cause the latency is less than 1ms from my broker. Any advise? Thanks.
