Dear Sir or Madam,
thank you very much for your comment. As you believe that you can generate +500% with free EA's, it is probably the best for you to do just that. I wish you all the best.

500% is never achievable from those stats. you deposited your account more than once so you must count only the absolute gain with is 178%. which is not something exeptional for all that period of trading. so dont try to impress with wrong stats. FOR THOSE WHO REDEPOSIT THEIR ACCOUNTS ONLY THE ABSOLUTE GAIN MATTERS...END. although you have a winning system with low DD at an affortable price, but it will never give 500% for a year dont fool newbies.

Hi Alexander,

From looking at the trade history, TP of 60 pips and spacing of 30 pips is very Envy like basket building tech. Also see baskets being built on both Buy and Sell side. Correct?

What is the investment gearing (min investment required to support a maxed out basket) related to leverage, number of pairs traded and starting lot size?

Does the EA support compounding / increasing the lot size as the balance grows? If so does an increased balance only effect the lot size of the level 1 trade or does it allow larger lot sizes of new trades added to already built baskets?

How does the Hedging work? At what level of basket growth does it kick in? It is automatic to open and close hedge or manual like Envy is how doing?

What happens when a basket is maxed out?

Can each pair be assigned a set % of the balance such that if one pair maxes out a basket and dies, it will not MC the entire account?

Will you post the manual?

Regards,
Phil

Hello FxPhil, thank you for your interest. To your questions:

FxPhil posted:

TP levels are fixed values but can be different for every level. Spacing between levels depends on the market conditions. As example: The EA will open a new buy position when the price is oversold. We found that it helps to keep draw downs low and helps to archive a smooth equity curve.

FxPhil posted:

It depends very much of the start lots and the maximum number of levels. With small start lots, 75-100$ per currency pair/instance is enough.

No, the actual version does not support compounding.

Hedging values can be set to different values for each level. Also the start level is adjustable. When the hedge feature is enabled (optional), hedge positions will be automatically placed by the EA.

If a SL is set for the last level the basket will be closed by SL. If no SL value is set the basket will be kept open until the user closes the basket manually or in the worst case the basket will be closed by the broker. (Margin Call)

It's not supported by the settings but it is something what can be done manually.

No, sorry. The manual includes very detailed description about all parameters and how all functions and features work together. To make sure (or at least decrease the chance) that another developer reverse engineer the system, the manual is only available for clients.

Hi Alex,

Thanks for the reply and answers.

Once a Hedge is opened by the EA, what happens next? Does the EA manage the Hedge & basket close? If so how?

Is there an option to use SLs when a trade is opened?

For GBPUSD, start lot size 0.01, levels 15, spacing 30 pips & leverage 500 what would be the total DD (Open + Floating Margin in use)?

Regards,
Phil

Hi Alex,

Based on the initial deposit of $10,000, there was a 63% DD event as per the attached MyFxBook data. Sure when the DD occurred, the balance was above $10,000. Point being if a new account was opened a week before that event, the account would have had a 63% or worst DD.

As MyFxBook doesn't get the tick by tick real DD, as our broker does, the DD could have been a lot worse.

If you do a custom analysis of the 3rd account, starting 01 June 2014 with a $10,000 starting balance, the account gets hit with close to a 60% DD in the first few weeks of trading.

When would Hedging kick in to limit the DD?

Is there Take Loss Setting? I notice that is just pure Martingale.

I notice that your system strategy on AUDNZD is :
Leverage fix lot on first 3 level of 20 pips.
Then Martingale power 1.6 on next 1 level of 20 pips.
Then Martingale power 1.6 on next 3 level of 30 pips.
Then Martingale power 1.6 on next 2 level of 40 pips.
Then Martingale power 2.0 on next 1 level of 40 pips.
Then Martingale power 1.3 on next 1 level of 30 pips.
Then Martingale power 2.0 on next 1 level of 30 pips.
Then Martingale power 1.0 on next 1 level of 30 pips.
Then Martingale power 0.8 on next 1 level of 20 pips.
-- So far is the max data observe on strategy.

Logic is about withstand 350 pip of drawdown, and BackTest show of withstand 385 pip as variation getting quote open.

So if you are Bad Luck facing with 385 pip of draw down getting in and start with 0.01 Lot at start.
You will have a draw down of $2271.67 when you at the point to open the last level power 0.8 martingale.

And strategy show that after open 14 level of trade, will close with loss.

Martingale can run with $200, but is not safe.

To prove that, you can add the Basket control on EA to cut all trade when draw down is more than 200.
Run the Back Test, sure the equity curve will died as not enough money to withstand draw down and money to counter back.

Hello DoubleTrap,
per definition 'pure Martingale' means that you double your lots with each level.

Also, please keep in mind that PowerFlow does not use a fixed distance between orders. Therefore it can withstand sharp directional moves without running in troubles.

ForexSeeker posted:

Yes, it is possible to limit the max number of levels and use SL as well.

To withstand sharp draw down you need is a Big Account.
As I only use 0.01 lot already require 2k over to counter big trend of down times.
Your account is open with 0.12 that mean you need over 20k-30k just to open trade and not much margin to withstand further draw down.

Your balance Account only around 23k.
And you trading 4 pair together.

Conclusion : You are taking great Risk to accumulate the Profit and give it a Blow in matter of time.

Unless your Martingale can gain >100% per month, the risk to use small account to play Martingale is TOO HIGH.

Martingale is great tool to use as is pure Mathematics you can calculate the out come of DrawDown and manage your risk easily.
Sure you run back test rite ? What is your minimum Balance require to survival Each year separately start from 2008-2013?
I'm sure you need at lease 50k-100k even you start with minimum lot 0.01 without increasing lot factor.
And even 100k you will still get Margin Call if just pure Martingale without counter Martingale.
