If set to 0.01 Lot using 1k initial deposit, the return will be very low. As earn $1.44 instead of $14.46.
And that mean for marketing purpose, your EA is on demo that don't have 0.01 lot, so your gain for 3 month 54.91% is consider a high gain high risk setting and for actual play need to minimize the risk and earn 5.49% per month.
So the normal thinking is never risk more than 2% of your initial deposit, and your gain will be around 2%
Well for me of course it doesn't work this way, my target is 75% ROI every month using $500 initial deposit every month.
But since you withdraw and left $214, you do need to set to 0.01 Lot. And it will be equal 2k play 0.1 lot.
But remind IBFX leverage is lower, so you might have a faster MC is have big DD.

Dear Forexseeker
We use 0.1 lots per 1000$ of free margin but in this account the balance is about 200$ so the suitable lot size is 0.02 .
In the EA there is a parameter called 'Min_Lots' which equal to 0.1 by default. So I suggested to change it to the 0.01 to let the EA to opens the positions with less than 0.1 lots.
Regards

It has been running a week now with lot size of .01, and made no trades. I think that probably other settings need to change to accomodate the .01 lot size. I will leave them at default unless the vendor says otherwise, since he is already inclined to blame my settings every time the EA performs badly.

It is clear that the EA is not going to work on IBFX with minimum lots set to .01, and the vendor has offered nothing to correct this. I ( same as the guy selling this EA ) am unwilling to risk more than a couple hundred in real money on this EA, so I'll be shutting this account down. You can still see smart scalper results at default settings on my Alpari demo account here. https://www.myfxbook.com/members/jprize/ss-112-alpari-us-demo/42880
