Anybody trading MDP better read around a bit. The VPS and Broker can make huge difference in performance to achieve a reasonable return at the risk of big losses if you don't use the right VPS and broker. Im currently sitting in the red (meaning negative) after taking a big hit this week vs others reporting they made reasonable gains. Give it a try if you want as the lure of big money awaits. We all know it's so easy, you just buy an EA and become rich, how simple could it be right. I guess most people have to learn the hard way so enjoy your shiny new EA.

commission looks killer! $91.2 of commission for $222 profit? perhaps try the hotforex premium account and pay slightly higher spreads instead?

i get a 0.45 pip rebate on every commission deposited back into my acc by my IB @ the end of the month. with premium you'll surely get to miss some trades due to spread being a lil bit >=2. i guess i prefer the currenex.

my commission was high cos when i started i was running on 3 settings (aggressive, default and safe with AC=8) and i had lots of trades while i was still on the losing side. also, my commission so far this month is $71.80 and that's when i started making profits with mdp, after my initial DDs

in the acc statement, the profit include the commission, eg.: the profit TL is $222.60 + comm $91.20 = $313.80, net profit is 222.60

that way myfxbook shows accs

i know what you're talking about. you didn't read my post properly. hotforex charges 1 pip commision on every trade, my IB pays me 0.45 pip back @ the end of the month (so you could say i end up paying 1 - 0.45 = 0.55 pip)

when i started testing mdp's performance (that's Jul 18 - Jul 31), then i hadn't settled with a particular setting, i had lots of trades, 160 trades in total running around 0.01 lot, and was running @ a loss (my balance was around $86.69). commission @ the end of july was -$19.40, and 45% of that was deposited back to my acc by my IB (can check it out in my stats).

as @ Aug 1 till date, i settled with a particular setting and started trading proper. my total trades since then was about 68, and that was when i started making profits with mdp. commission since then was -$71.80 (and still counting). so by the end of the month my IB'll refund 45% of this month's commission back to my acc. It's the total commission since i started that's -$91.20 but part of it finds its way back to my acc as i've explained earlier.

you can use custom analysis to check out my explanations. checkout from Jul 18 - Jul 31, then from Aug 1 - date

Do you think it matters if I have a micro or currenex account?

Thank you

well micro/premium seems to be ok but you might get to miss some trades, that's if spread goes higher than 2 pips @ the moment mdp's about to take some trades. aside that, micro's just like currenex (but with currenex you're sure of getting spreads < 2 pips)
