:) Average win in pips is 5.08Profit Factor tells something else than average win in pips. Profit factor = sum of all wins against sum of all loses. 1.9 isn't the best but it isn't bad either, atleast it's winning.

Thanks for the explanation! I read the comments on your blog and the links too. What is still confusing me is that the probability percent always seems to be 99.98%. On every system. There's a bug in the code? Or does it update at certain times only and gets calculated correctly later?

I'm a bit confused about this. I didn't know what this means and had to look it up.Is '0.26 (99.98%)' as it's supposed to be? The percents seem to indicate that the 0.26 should actually be calculated as 1/n = 3.85?Or have I misunderstood this completely? Has this been 'turned around' so that the smaller the number the better the expectancy?I found this chart:Z-Score & Confidence Limit (%)3.00 / 99.73%2.58 / 99.00%2.33 / 98.00%2.17 / 97.00%2.05 / 96.00%2.00 / 95.45%1.96 / 95.00%1.64 / 90.00%EDIT: Seems that everyone has got a 99.98%?

I believe that this is about 'Blessing 3'. I'm not actively forward testing it at the moment but doing some backtests and generally messing around with it to see different ways how it works.Check it out @ http://www.jtatoday.com/There's a forum too @ http://www.jtatoday.info/forum/They just released a new version of it and there's a wealth of information on it in the forum.

I haven't got that much experience with live account with different brokers. I'm currently using GoMarkets standard account which is working very well. You can use 0.01 lots, start with $1 and it's STP. No complaints.

That one is definitely worth it! Another update coming next week which should keep the DD under tighter control. The developer, Andrea, is one of a kind among EA developers.Seriously recommend Forex Crescendo.I've made $126.90(11.54%) profit with Crescendo in 12 trading days with a $1100 initial deposit which means that I've almost gained what it cost me($149 if I remember correctly).

ATM I've got- Supreme Complexity (on several charts)- Automated Pips (on several charts)- XPA (on several charts)- Forex Crescendo (on two charts)- Forex Retribution(going to take this off) (on several charts)- SteadyWinner V4 (EURUSD)running on this account at the same time.

Added SteadyWinner V4. Thinking about removing Retribution since it's _really_ slow in making profits aka it really isn't progressing at all... probably taking it off later today. So far Crescendo is making nice gains. Thumbs up! Eagerly waiting for updates on this EA since they are likely to make it even better. Way to go, Andrea!I don't know what to think of XPA but so far it's been profitable. Automated Pips, the same.Thinking about starting Destiny PRO on EURCHF, looks good on backtests.Still trying to find some _stable_ settings for Blessing3. Could be the best free EA but ...

Seems to be going strong. Surprising or not.All sets are from JTalon forum where people together are developing different sets. Kudos to all.

So far Automated Pips and Retribution have the highest winning rates but smallest gains overall, just few pips at a time. I will have to up the risk on these two.Changed the start time to the beginning again. There's Supreme Complexity at work with too high risk :) It still has got too high risk since it doesn't trade smaller than .1 lots.

:) Note taken. So far it seems that they work largely at a bit different strategies and don't really open up lot of positions in the same direction at the same time(all the different EAs together). So basically it should work out just fine.Just need to run them at lesser risk all the time if the unfortunate would happen. Or when it is going to happen :)

Retribution is a slow gainer, looks for those "good" opportunities. It's nothing like they promise on their site but seems profitable so far...I'll have to take a look at Autopilot, thanks for the info.Nice gain btw and wish you good luck in the future too.

Thanks, I will have to try that one.EDIT: Must say that I've found backtests to be more of way to just see if EA works at all. Forward tests are far better and I've got time ^^

Supreme Complexity is my main concern ATM since I'm not able to use smaller lots than .1, for some reason. I think it's coded in. Dunno.

These are some of the EAs that I'm trying out to see what kind of performance they have. Idea is to start a live account based on these results. Currently on account and most likely to be put on LIVE account:Forex Crescendo- slow, steadyForex Retribution- very slow, steady(could use bigger risk?)Automated Pips- slow, steady(could use bigger risk?)Forex Complexity- faster but more risky(not able to use lots smaller than .1 for some reason)XPA- extremely slow, swings back 'n forthCurrently on account but not sure will survive LIVE(need to study more):TraXXon(EA BOSS)- riskierEA Kain- ris...

I've been following your B3 account too. I myself started a 10 pair demo account but soon noticed that I couldn't make any decent backtests(bad data) to create sets and had to drop some pairs and add some and then I downloaded latest set-files from the new J Talon forum. Why try to invent the wheel, eh... ?Interestingly I(without knowing it) chose the same pairs that you seem to have or had on your account.I try to update the sets on a weekly basis if there are changes to the best set-files in the forum. I'm also thinking of opening L-Plate account(micro) with GoMarkets to test the...
