Sorry then Zero, no harm done, but, if it makes you feel better, I am not down 5500.00USD, that is a micro account I opened to test antother EA I have and then I removed it and put the MOmentum EA there. E
ven though I am losing on that one, it is still on, as it is the crude truth of this market, now, in reallity, I am down 55.00USD ( 60%) but I also have another live account that is is hidden which has 511.00USD and started with 400.00USD, so, in reallity I am up.

On the other hand, your stop loss is kind of scary, more than 1000 pips, and do not get me wrong, I do not care, but just be carefull.

my trading work started coming together and four people approached me in the oanda forum, offering to pony up 1k each..

my partner had quit, but do you know that i called him up and i told him that the security at my apartment kinda sucked, and i asked him if he would like to run this trading company, as we had originally agreed..

he bulldogged me outta my software and pretty much handed to me 10k cash and then he suggested that i might want to consider starting my own trading company..

he might as well have phkd me in the azz, that is pretty much what he did.

i later learned that that trading system of mine ran unattended in a closet for a solid year, it took a balance of less than 1k and turned it into right at 10k.

did he bother to tell me thank you or even say phk u?

my code that i have now is light years beyond that which i handed to him..

i ate garbage all last month to do this.

when you say that this game aint for pussies, lets just say that i have redefined what it means to have stones...

before my position's close up, i could have as many as peraps ten 0.10 lot gold trades on the table.

if i have ten trades on the table on a gold trade...

a simple one dollar move of gold gives me a hundred pips X ten EQUALS 1,000 pips.

1,000 pips doesnt seem like much now, does it?

myfxbook tallies up the combined pips, but it is my opinion that if i have multiple trades open on a single pair, then maybe theiir numbers should be all about the combined position values.

anyways, now you understand why i am showing that 1,000 pip drawdown.

Happy middle ground? Come to terms? Hm, you sound serious. I understand you've put lots of efforts into trading. Spent all those years researching, trying, coding ... I'd hate to disappoint, but I don't take this all too seriously. I do this when I have some time to kill. I'm just trying to increase my balance while keeping my exposure at the lowest possible levels. Sometimes it works and sometimes it don't. And I don't really care whether or not there are billions to be had in this game. Really. If you have legal and sustainable ways of pumping money out of the economy, you're not looking at Forex as something you want to depend on.

Your determination and persistence are truly admirable, but I for one prefer to put things aside at the end of day. Coz there's always another day. So eating garbage or not shaving for a week just because I'm busy with something ... no way.

Yeah, I obviously don't understand ... but this doesn't really matter since we're exact opposites in many ways.
I like to keep things low profile, without much hype. I simply don't need anyone's admiration or envy to function. Neither do I need a leader/father figure and I don't really wish to be a leader to anyone. I don't care how big a dog is, I only care if it is exuding stability and peace of mind.
Money and the temporal happiness it can buy ... I don't care too much about it because I have much much more than I need. Yeah, I'm rich in this aspect. At least I feel rich. 😄
