I also have 2% Daily target, extrapolated to 10% weekly and 45% monthly.As for how I set that target: by input parameter in my Expert Advisor. 😉

38 voted Yes now :)But CrazyTrader also has a valid point. If Brokers can manipulate the books, they can surely include the Ticket numbers in their manipulations.

That is unavoidable if you want to stick to your own rule of not adjusting SL and TP.. Perhaps look into ways of trailing your SL and as soon as the SL is in profit, just remove the TP..How and when to move your stoploss could be examined by drawing Support and Resistance from multiple time frames on your chart and watch price closely every time it approaches one of the lines you drew to see if it bounces or breaks.

Oops, I made a brain fart.. Only one of the four actually has a return above 5% on montly basis (being Vortex Trader PRO) :)

I'd say it's nr 1 and I bet they gain a lot more than 5% average monthly return.Btw, a 5% average monthly return over 2 years is 1.05^24 = 3.2251 or 322.51%So I did a search for systems with the parameters: More than 323% gain, Less than 25% drawdown, and age of system more than 2 years. I found 4 results. All 4 have track record and privileges verified, are real accounts and were opened with well known brokers (Synergy FX, FXCM and Oanda).So I'm not sure why you couldn't find any system.

If you trade purely on Price Action and Support/Resistance levels, you can choose to only enter trades where there is enough 'room' for price to move above and beyond 3× the Risk you take. You could also look in to working with Limit Orders to reduce the Risk and increase the Reward distances on your chart.

I think the biggest difference is that demo accounts typically do not take into account market depth. This would mean that if you're placing big position sizes (let's say north of 5 to 10 Lots depending on your broker), you'll get filled at different quotes on Demo server than on the Real server, and the Demo quote will always be better than the Real quote.Another difference you might see and which could impact your trading strategy, especially if it's a scalping strategy, is that demo trades do not get commissioned in contrast to real trades. Again, this depends on your broker...

I agree with CrazyTrader and I'm also a proponent of automatic trading. You can backtest all you want, if you're not a super disciplined person, you'll make rash decisions in the heat of the moment that may not entirely conform to your trading plan. A robot doesn't do that. It operates under strict rules and if your rules are profitable, your EA should be profitable as well. Hi,I consistently lost money due to my emotions getting in the way. Now I trade fully automatic and my trading became profitable on my demo account. I have now sufficient trust in my EA to have activated it on my real account and I am glad and relieved that I don't need to make anymore decisions myself.

If a Limit order is activated by a gap, you'll actually have a better price.With Stop orders activated by a gap, you'll have a worse price.Let me know if you need a specific example for your understanding :)

Hi,I did not experience the issues you talk about above, but I had other reasons for closing my account with them (which I only opened in the first place because I'm an ex-Alpari UK user).I closed my account because (1. )the broker did not accept any Limit orders from my EA, and (2.) their scalping policy section in the terms and conditions.However, when I requested my withdrawal, it was hassle free, and between request and money on my account, less than a week went by, so I'm pleased with that.

I had my 100% funded into an ETX Capital account last week.. Made a few winning trades, but I'm now in the process of withdrawing my total balance as this broker doesn't seem to accept Limit Order commands by my EA.
Can I close all MT4 if using myfxbook signal?

If the trade has exit levels (Stop Loss and Target Profit) then yes. However I would not advise to turn off, as the signal provider may have some trade management going on (i.e. change SL and TP levels). If your MT4 terminal is off, you will not copy the management of the trade.
