Hi MIDASUser,Nice results.........I will be watching this one with interest.I agree that it is nice to see a vendor putting their product up and and also on a real account. It speaks volumes for your system and effort. That said, and to answer Steve's question, your system has characteristics of a martingdale type of system which would explain the the profits with a negative pip value. Correct me if I am wrong............The idea of a money back guarantee is nice, but a statement so that we can assess the effect of that 700 pips drawdown and the consequent lot escalation would be even nice...

Wallace,There are several brokers that have a system that allows you to trade multiple accounts through a master MT4 account. Ask them about their money manager products.The multi-terminal does not support EA's but it is nice for keeping tabs on multiple accounts. Your broker needs to support the PAMM/MAM system. Forex.com has such a system....Alpari(Rus) has such a system although I don't think Alpari(UK) has quite caught up yet.

A somewhat cynical viewpoint......I would never operate without a VPS, but each to their own.Next best would be to get software that turns your computer into your own VPS......look at www.rdmplus.com

I think this would be nice, but would also like to add the following to the wishlist :-1. It would be nice if the growth chart(or balance) could be added to the report as a picture speaks a thousand words.2. It would also be useful if the reults could be added below the chart and all of this located at the front of the report, with an option to print out all the trades. At present, my results appear at the end of a 44 page list of trades.Thanks

Uhmmmm......Yeah, I think that is the point of having good data to begin with.Elkart, despite the cynism of your post, you do make a good point albeit unintentionally, I suspect.There is far more to backtesting than hitting the start button on the tester.......and this is one of the reasons that most people fail in Automated Trading. They think cos they can run a backtest, they are suddenly an expert🙄If you want to get ahead, you cannot say that backtesting is useless......first you need to know what you are doing, understand what the limitations of the backtester are and then find way...

With good quality tick data, you can achieve 99% backtest modelling quality. At present MT4 can only achieve 90% because you cannot get below the M1 bar level......MT4 mathematically interpolates the numbers below this level which leads to inaccurate testing, especially with scalpers.

ubernova,If you are referring to martigale type strategies, then we may be in agreement. I look at these types of strategies with suspicious interest. I have also used FXCM and have ditched them.........I have to agree with Jerome, their customer service is first class. Had a guy phone me from their local branch and he managed to help me with any and all technical issues that I had. Deposit and withdrawal was accomplished without a hitch at an acceptable pace.Unfortunately, technically they don't seem to have aced the transition to the Boston Tech liquidity bridge. Their trade execution was slow and this is no good for scalping. There are many requotes but this is also due to a technical deficiency where virtually any error was reflected...

Your statement is a clear oxymoron...........clear proof and may? We have had this discussion before on this site..........and as biz0101 said, you can compare the equity with the balance and decide on the drawdown. I prefer to keep my strategy private and I do not like to reveal my open trades for this reason. A potential investor has all the information he needs to judge the performance of my system.......he does not need to know or understand the strategy and therefore does not need to know the open trades or trade history.Furthermore, I don't care if people don't flock to my system...

I used Alpari for a while. They are not suitable for scalping the Asian session and that is why I left. It is easy to open an account with them, they process your deposit quickly and they refund your funds quickly enough as well. They allow microlots(0.01) and offer good leverage.I have yet to see a broker that does not widen spreads during the Asian session, so I cannot fault them for this. I disagree.......I believe there is no correlation between equity growth and pips growth that proves(or disproves) sensible trading. Many systems use variable lotsizes based on probablilty and any time you have various lotsizes, you are going to have disparity between equity and pips.....in fact the bigger this disparity, the better your money management!The best chart will be one that shows balance vs free equity(ie balance - drawdown - margin). More aspects being rated such as quality of fills ie slippage/requotes/speed of execution;2. An assesment of honesty.
