BluePanther - the GPS EA results look OK - but I can't find an independent, real, current account that is good on myfbook. Could you point me to one?
I appreciate your honest question, and I will answer you here: Sorry, I can't point you to an independent, real, current account that is good on myfxbook. The honest reason is because I don't know of one, and there may not even be one. 😞
With that said, there is solid evidence out there and it is up to the individual to use their God-given brain to make their own decision. NOTHING is free - it may cost time instead of money.
And with the presence of detractors such as 'corre71' that label everything under the sun a 'scam' without evidence, yet whole-heartedly support 'scams' such as sPhantom (who many suggest is FX Papa - with evidence), I don't want to serve anything more on a 'silver-platter' than I already have.
The 1% ruin it for the remaining 99%. I no longer have the desire to help my fellow trader TYVM. And again, sincerest apologies to everyone else.

The decision is entirely up to the individual to choose and join the group of losers that have just made short term gains for long term losses. Statistics show that almost everyone loses their money in the long run and those that don't want the universe for you to join them.

@forexpipcatcha To those I helped, they know. To you, obviously you have learnt nothing (from me). But I do agree, each individual is encouraged to make their own mind up on how they want to make (or lose) their money. No one (least of all me) should make up their mind for them.
Oh, thanks for calling out GPS Forex Robot as a scam - your opinion (although I disagree) is much appreciated. 😄
Another sore loser. Don't be so negative! 😎 If you lost money with GPS, then I suggest either your broker was crap (as many are) or you used the wrong settings. If you haven't lost money with GPS, on what basis do you make your claim it is a scam? Rumors? I base my opinion on my OWN experiences.

Well, I've made a claim for refund. I am not sure if it's a scam or not, probably more along the line of product fraud or not as advertised. However, the main issue is the lack of response from the publisher of SP, so that is unsettling and quite irresponsible from my point of view. Already contacted my credit card and Avangate, and I would advise everyone else to do the same who bought the product recently.
Too bad it has come to this, I would have liked to listen to their explanation as everyone makes bad trades once in a while. However, as I mentioned, their silence is not a good sign and may be an indication of things to come with this EA.
Good luck with your trades everyone.
@corre71 I may try out Wally to see how it performs, as a substitute for SP. How has that been working out for you? Please PM me if you can, thanks!

Most of these systems' high winning rates are achieved by using huge stoploss or no stop loss. If you lower the risks/stoploss, you will get them filled lot more often than before the change.
FXJester posted:
Assuming sPhantom is going to continue - why not just use the system at 10% risk and don't get a refund?
Of course, if this service has stopped I agree that those who have just purchased (say in the last couple of months) should get a full refund. Its not good to sell a signal service and then stop it a couple of weeks later.
I repeat what I said earlier - it would be good to hear from the vendor to know of their intention to continue or not - it would seem that if they don't do this, there will be a hell of a lot of heat until the next sPhantom signal.

Perhaps sPhantom can add a news filter to the copier EA and we can enable/disable it as we wish? I would like to skip all trade series +/- 2 hours of high impact US or EU news.

SPhantom is a scalper ( integrated Minigrid max 2 Levels).
With the customer version (you can set the SL yourself) and low risk it's a good ea and behaves
like other scalpers.
The only thing i have to claim is, the shipped version has no SL paramter and risk is to high.
SPhantom should have a low risk real account instead of 1xxx % to catch customers until complete fail (just happened).
I wonder SPhantom does not post here.
They should ship a new version or the customer version with lower risk and continue work.
And of course no opening just before FED what indicates a automated signal without news filter or manual acting.

Who restricts you to move sl to smaller loss position? Lets say to 100 pips? If ea modifying sl back, than switch it of until sl or tp will be hit. According MAE 100 pips was reasonable level to limit losses.

I would not consider buying any EA that has a risk / reward ratio higher than 1 : 1.
No ea, not even one, is ever successful over the long term. EA is for gamblers, MANUAL TRADING is for traders.
I disagree: EAs are for intelligent traders, MANUAL TRADING is for gamblers (and sometimes traders).
You cannot create an EA without being able to explicitly define your system. Any good manual trader has discipline to follow their system TO THE 'T'. But 90% of traders lose money in forex - usually attributed to a lack of discipline and emotional interference. Isn't this what is called 'gambling'?
EAs lose money because either the strategy is poor to begin with, or the wrong settings are used (or you are using a scam broker, in which case you have NO HOPE of making money trading!). They are a program and do not 'gamble' per se.
dont get it wrong, the eas are not the gamblers, but the one who utilizes them with the unrealistic expectation is the true gambler
why would an 'intelligent trader' rely on a programme created by an unknown
show me all successful traders and ull see core manual trading behind the scene
for those who have been observing proper money mgt, having a diverse risk portfolio and thirdly having an indepth knowledge of ea workings, what has happened to sphantom now shouldnt throw you off balance.
per adventure, if you know of any of such programme that is guaranteed to make and keep making you money, it would be helpful to the forum
just a little proof - go to forexpeacearmy, click on expert advisor test, click on weeks to take you to the longest standing eas and see for yourself the amount these eas make weekly and their performance curves😄
this is even talking about the ones that have survived for close to a year, not to even talk aout the numerous that have crashed and burnt

By the way Yi-1 from autotrade has some simialarities, looks like the same grid system but with some much more advanced money management. Im also not quite sure why it gave me a mothly gain of about 1000%, thats really strange!
Axitrader uses a custom start date, before it looked like crap.
A SL at 100 pips + Risk at 25... my guess for sPhapa 😁
