El Salvador GDP Growth Rate YoY
A total of 66% of El Salvador's GDP comes from the services sector, which includes internal trade (14% of GDP), real estate operations (8%), public administration (8%), finance and insurance (7%), and education (5% of GDP). Industry accounts for 27% of total wealth, with the highest proportions going to manufacturing (18%), construction (6%), and utilities (3%). In addition, the agriculture, livestock, forestry, and fishing sectors account for 6% of GDP. Among the components of GDP on the expenditure side, household consumption accounts for the largest share (85%), followed by gross fixed capital creation and government spending (16% each). Exports of products and services account for 28% of GDP, whilst imports account for 45%, resulting in a net loss of 17% of total GDP.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the USD while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the USD.

Philly Fed Index Unexpectedly Indicates Contraction In November
A report released by the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia on Thursday said regional manufacturing activity softened overall in the month of November. The Philly Fed said its diffusion index for current general activity tumbled to a negative 5.5 in November from a positive 10.3 in October, with a negative reading indicating contraction.
