Latvia Inflation Rate YoY
Food and non-alcoholic beverages are the most important categories in Latvia's consumer price index, contributing 23.7% of overall weight. Housing and utilities contributing 16.2%, transportation accounts for 13.6%, alcoholic beverages and tobacco account for 8.2%, recreation and culture account for 8%, and clothing and footwear account for 5.8%. 24.5% of the total weight is allocated to the following sectors: health, other products and services; furniture and domestic goods and maintenance; restaurants and hotels; and communication and education.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the EUR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the EUR.

French Consumer Confidence Weakens
French consumer sentiment weakened in March largely due to the deterioration in households' view about future financial situation, monthly survey data from the statistical office INSEE showed on Wednesday. The consumer confidence index fell unexpectedly to 92 in March from 93 in February. The reading was expected to rise to 94.

German Ifo Business Confidence At 8-Month High
German business confidence improved to an eight-month high in March as defense and infrastructure spending plans offset concerns about US trade policies, survey data from ifo Institute showed on Tuesday. The business climate index hit 86.7 in March, up from 85.3 in the previous month. The score was seen at 86.8. The reading was the strongest since last July.

Eurozone Private Sector Expands For Third Month
Eurozone private sector expanded for the third straight month in March as manufacturing production increased for the first time in two years, joining services in growth territory, data from S&P Global showed on Monday. The HCOB flash composite output index ticked up to 50.4 in March from 50.2 in February. The score has remained above the threshold 50.0 indicating expansion.
