Non-Oil Domestic Exports (NODX) in Singapore can be classified into two categories: Electronic Products, such as integrated circuits (ICs), Disk Media Products, Personal Computers (PCs), Computer Parts, and Diodes and Transistors, and Non-Electronic Products, mainly chemicals, such as petrochemicals and pharmaceuticals.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the SGD while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the SGD.

Singapore Central Bank Softens Monetary Policy
Singapore's central bank eased its monetary policy for the second time as inflation remained low, while downside risks to growth outlook increased due to the lack of clarity over policies of the US administration and trade frictions. The Monetary Authority of Singapore said it will continue with the policy of a modest and gradual appreciation of the S$NEER policy band.
