Perhaps, USD/CAD is the worst currency pair for me. I also don’t like EUR/USD and I would put GBP/USD on the third place. Other majors are not problematic for me. Besides this, I don’t have problems with cross pairs.

I can say that I’m absolutely indifferent to spreads. Scalpers put much value on spreads because it’s very crucial for their trading style. I choose long-term trading where spreads don’t matter. I like long-term trading. With this preference I can trade with any broker, if it’s genuine, of course, while scalpers don’t have such freedom of choice because they have to take into account spreads first.

That is the thing about trading, you are a boss for yourself, but you are responsible for all of your results and influx of money. If you have the employer, he is responsible for paying you the salary and for supplying you with the paid work. Freedom presupposes responsibility and you shouldn't forget about it.

I believe that the best metrics to estimate your trading success is whether you have consistent and predictable profits which you can prognose. If these profits are decent and you can live on them, then your trading is successful.

When I found out that this company has been operating for many, many years and is very successful - I decided to open an account here .. And you know .. I do not regret it. Everything is really good here. Orders are executed quickly and there is a choice of account. I first chose the fix and then switched to the standard. I liked floating spreads better. Otherwise, everything is fine too.

I agree with you, cTrader is a very user-friendly platform. But, MT4 is better suited for fundamental analysis. Are you tracking macro/micro data?
