How do you know that the trade go directly to the liquidity provider, does this broker has any means to prove that ? And why couldn't you auto trade with them ?

That's not а Negative balance protection at all.. the idea behind the negative balance is to cover the losses. Of course, it can't go on forever, and in such cases I suppose the broker may impose some limitations to t the account somehow ...

I agree, there is nothing wrong in wanting to be profitable, like in any other business . My comment was too generic.. . Here in FX good experience, risk management are rather the things that matter for me... :)

You could try to use an expert adviser for setting an alarm on every Friday, You may have to adjust every Friday manually though. You can download such expert adviser from the internet... as I am not using such I couldn't give you a good example, but just the idea ... :)

For me Forex as a hobby works fine. If I make it for a living , then it gets too stressful for me , having in mind the unpredictability of the whole Forex market. Admoni is right, you can earn money only after a solid knowledge (which takes years). For me the leading motive shouldn't be earning money, but the desire for acquiring knowledge...If something is intriguing you, then learning is waaay easier, knowledge comes naturally with the interest. If you hope only for quick and good earning, then you are lost. No one can convince me that sitting on your coach and hoping that the EUR/USD wi...

I think in order to determine in which country's legislation you'd fall, what matters also is where you live .... There 's surely a difference in both regulators ( sorry, I am not very familiar with ASIC's regulations) , however if you are a European citizen, you still have to comply with EU regulations for financial markets.

Yes, Negative balance protection is a very good advantage when it comes to choose a broker ...and a good sign that the broker is a reliable one. But I think if the brokers have it , they would put it on a visible place on the site, it is a positive feature after all ...

I think the market has nothing to do with the withdrawal of funds as long as you don't place your money in a certain position. If you don't trade your money, it doesn't matter for the market if it'll stay in the account or it will be withdrawn ....

Exactly, I may have said that's the common thinking , but certainly not my thinking. So I agree with you: Low leverage is definitely not the only way to protect the account. Risk management is important if you want to apply higher leverage to your account.

There is a common thinking that the higher the leverage is, the higher the profit would be. As other members have said before me , leverage can lead to losses as quickly as to profits. I think the leverage you choose depends also on the instruments you prefer to trade. For example some instruments are more "Expensive" ...

My common rule: Be prepared for the worst ... there is always a sense of unpredictability that should be taken in consideration even if you have the best strategy in place. Don't remember who has said this, but for me it's a mandatory rule:"Never bet your lifestyle"

Some of them yes,... if they have the manpower during the night... But as I said bank withdrawals will be processed by the banks on the following day. Maybe they support this option for the payment providers who could process payments faster.

What comes to my mind for newcomers in trading is that some brokers are offering educational webinars , so if you register there you can ask your question Live and the person could answer you … It’s just good if you need interactive communication, because sometimes one could get lost by just watching videos or reading articles …
