What I appreciated the most about IC Markets is definitely the fast order execution and the highly competitive spreads, especially on ECN accounts. The platform is stable, intuitive, and perfect for scalping or using EAs. The customer support is also excellent—always available and quick to respond.
What would you improve about IC Markets?
In my opinion, they could improve their educational resources for beginner traders and slightly expand the withdrawal options to make them more flexible. Adding more analysis tools directly on the platform would also be a great plus.

I registered with this broker after using a demo account for 8 months, which yielded good results with my trading strategy. Subsequently, I moved to a live account and opted for a raw spread account. However, I encountered an issue with the broker as they increased the spread to 35 pips during high-impact news events. Following this, I contacted customer service and explained that I had chosen a raw spread account specifically for lower spreads, as all forex trading sites indicated that this broker offered competitive rates compared to other forex brokers. The representative responded that they do not offer fixed spread accounts and attributed the increased spread and slippage to low liquidity. Essentially, they raise the spread and slippage to offset low liquidity at the trader's expense. My main advice is not to trust such brokers or the paid reviews on forex trading sites.
