swap costs are incredible high, so be careful when you have open trades overnight. their swap costs are 3-5 times more expensive than my standard broker fxpro.

So ladies and gentlemen, here is my short review about this broker
Summary:
Today I earned 28000 USD. (Proof my contest account) Then MAXFX began acting just like yesterday, and increased the SPREAD to beat me. There were moments when the increased spread over 15 pips. What is really awfull? Example: my platform show me BID-ASK 015-017 but when i place BUY order i got price 35! Beautifull.
This is not an ECN. They manipulated the price right before the eyes of mime.
So support MAXFX e-mailed me that he does not pay any profit. Great support!!!
I'm risking my money in the market and they will not pay me?
So if You once earn money in Forex, it is almost certain that with a broker like MAXFX get anything like others scam broker.

Hi every one - MaxFX - the worthiest Broker I ever met in my life:
1) Support - reply on tickets very long time, no chat on the website for quick communications - a lot of people mentioned this here as a minus.
2) But the most terrible - this is execution and pricing - spreads are quite high as for ECN account it is 0.8-1.0 pip not 0.1 like on the website.
Feed has delays when activity comes up , I did make some screens, you can see difference between other brokers http://prntscr.com/aa9ssp execution more then one second- http://prntscr.com/aaa5wv it is very high for STP - in average it should be not higher 200-300ms - It is means, that clients on B book and using Virtual Dealer for manipulation of execution.
Terrible - not suggesting this Broker- only if you want to play with them and catch something on delays - good luck.

I registered with them because they have a $4 round turn promotion for their ECN commission but I have a lot of questions about them.
#1 Their spreads: Like a lot of people have mentioned their spreads seem high. They claim to have some deep bank liquidity access yet I compared it with Alpari Russia's ECN. Alpari typically had spreads that were 20%-50% lower (I kept looking at it over the course of about 5 minutes during normal market hours). I watched about 5 pairs as examples and it was consistent across the board. EURUSD for instance had about a 1.10-1.30 on average while alpari during the same period had a spread of 0.6-0.8. Considering the EURUSD has the lowest spread of any pair I can't see how they claim to have spreads as low as 0.1. I can't see that ever being a possibility. But then again I've only watched the spreads on their site for a few minutes. Also I should note I did find many pairs that had identical spreads.
#2 False advertising regarding instruments: They claim on their site that you can trade indices and stocks yet loading the platform it's missing. I guess this is because of the account type but on their site they don't specify that you have access to less instruments based on certain account types. Also if you click to find what instruments they have for indices & stocks it doesn't even work (goes to a page error). How does a site like this have such oversight that your main links don't even work? It's a scary sign.
I hope they don't flag me for criticizing their platform but these are legitimate concerns. In particular the spreads problem is a very very big one. Every ECN broker that charges a commission has spreads on the euro of 0.8 or less during normal market hours (the ones with big bank liquidity providers). I have more than a hard time believing that their access gets them such high spreads. I'm really wondering if they don't pad the spread from time to time to make extra money?

Can a live customer give us information about their spread now ?
In my Demo MT4 (opened yesterday) the spreads are HORRIBLE !
Especially before the news but also AFTER the news. With a real broker they go back to normal (1-4 pip) just seconds after the news.
With MaxFX they NEVER go that low, but stay at 5 POINTS (50 Pips !) for EUR !!!! Other pairs are WORSE.
This is UNACCEPTABLE !

Hello, I have some questions for Steve or someone who traded already with bonus+deposit.
I have 10K GBP on my MaxFX no deposit account as credit.
If I deposit 200, it will be shown as balance, and 10,200 equity right?
1)Is this equity going to be fully tradable? For example if I close a trade with +1K profit, will balance become 1,200 and credit still 10,000 or balance still 200 and credit become 11,000?(apart from 1lot per 2$ calculations)
2)Another example, if I close a negative -1k trade, what will happen? Zero balance and 9200 credit or 200 balance and 9,000 credit.What is deducted first?
And if balance is deducted first and it become zero, what if I then made a +2K trade will it become 1,200 balance and 10,000 credit?Or how does it work…
3)About 1lot per 2$. Does it count only deposited money as lots converted or the whole account equity is able to generate counted lots?
I’m asking because I have a bad feeling about this broker, as I found only negative posts about it.

These guys are a scam, made $1200 from the $100 no deposit bonus only to lose them while actively trading!!! They claim that the credit is part of one's equity and completely tradable, but once my losses went below the balance I had with them, they withdrew the $1200 I had made, leaving me with negative margin. What is painful is that I am the one who had made the money and yet I couldn't trade it afterwards.

Service is poor . I had opened a new live account (06/2015) with Myfxbook conditions . Then came an e-mail which is converted my account on Professional MAX . The conditions are much worse . Not like that... 😡

Can't login to MT4 account anymore, was able to make 423,5% profits in about 2,5 weeks. and today my account says Invalid account when I try to log in to MT4 and when I log in on the website it says $0. Emailed them... I write an update in a few days, hopefully I get some awnsers.
