Neptune, this issue was covered several times before.
Our aim is to keep transparency at the highest level, so selecting a custom period for account analysis is not possible as it could be used in a way to manipulate stats by selecting your best trading period.
For our analytics to work, all of the account history should be submitted, as calculations can't start without a first deposit (which is the first trade on each account).
You can also keep your account private if you don't want to share it (twitter connection can also work even if private).
Hope that answered your questions.

Neptune posted:
At the present time ALL HISTORY for the account must be shown as I understand for it to work.
What I would like to see is the ability to select the starting date.
My 2 pips worth :-)
Are you serious? It's like asking to have a button that every time you click on it, it adds 50% to your system's gain..
If this feature will be added, there would be really no point looking at your account's performance, as you would just hide whatever period you want.
Sleep is for the weak.

Yes I am serious since the account I use has had a number of different EA over the years ( 3 to be exact ) and what is used today has no resemblance to the first one.
As for hiding any section that could easily be done by simply opening a new account at any time.
My reason is not to hide anything but only show the results of this year 2009 since that is what we offer today based on it's performance since Jan.
BTW the EA is Artemis Breakout and anyone can see the daily trades including screen shots posted at https://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/artemis-breakout/

You can just say the dates for which you traded different ea's, but to prove an ea's profitability, I guess you would need to open a separate account for that ea.
Yes you could open a new account once you get bad results, but that would be suspicious as it will be visible when did you start trading on the new account.
let's say you're talking to a potential client - he would most likely ask you to see the account traded for real (either with investor password for mt4 or some other way), so why would you want to hide that in the first place?
It's understandable you want to show only the relevant period for your latest ea, but if you could select a custom period to show performance, what stops other from misusing this?
Think about it. I'm sure you'll get my point <img src='https://static.myfxbook.com/images/smiley-wink.png' alt='😉'/>.

I can see your point, there are always way for dishonest people to find way around everything.
I'm just trying to get a feel for this to see if it is something that would generate new customers as you know there are a number of site that offer similar type of service. <img src='https://static.myfxbook.com/images/smiley.png' alt='😄'/>
After 3 years we have developed a certain amount of trust and credibility. User can compare their trades with our posted almost daily trade and can discuss any issue they have at one of our 2 web group. A private one for user of the EA and a public for people that want to fallow our progress.
This makes it very difficult to fake trades.
Ciao <img src='https://static.myfxbook.com/images/smiley-grin.png' alt='😀'/>
