Hi Gill
You have given very valuable info. I just wonder if you use indicators (CCI and BBS ETC) or not and if you use them what are the settings?
Do you use traditional entering as yes?
Backtest settings use them and give profitable result. However I remember that you had told me you did not use them as in that case the pairs did not enter trade. Are you still ignoring o use them?

Aud I am using the same 25,50,100 // 50, 100, 200
On GBPJPY, EURJPY, and others that move along (GBPCHF, etc..) then I use at least 35,70,140 // 70,140,280
Make sense??
Check out my baskets I am doing. Pretty neat stuff...

MA Cross (default)
And, no profit maximizer as it doesn't really work in 3.7
On 3.8 I heard it was fixed??

No PM is adjustable in v8 also. I use it but I am not sure whether it works or not in v8 also??
Lastly what about BE`s? Is it related with max trade no? I mean default Max trade no is 15 and BE is 12. Any relation or proportion between them?

5 on the scary pairs on BE!
:)
I backtested and found 5-6 good.....
If I have two pairs say NZDJPY and NZDUSD (similar) doing about the same thing and I take profit on one manually, close out the other 'just in case'. I had two or so correlating pairs in the past cause me problems so....
Those two specifically have been so close together...
On the PM, I backtested using it and it really dropped the profit and barely improved the dd%... Maybe that was just me...?

Hi
I have an other question. When I examine your history data I saw that some of your trades closed after higher levels such as 0.06 and 0.08 lots. I set my settings according to your seetings that you told me in your previous message. However my higher levels can not reach uper lots and they close after max 0.03 lots. What can cause it do you have any idea? I opened 10 pairs with portion PC 5% AND MAX dd 50%. I have a balance account of US 1500. I use microlot. Other settings are standard.
Thanks again

Remember, I do this a bit differently. You are using EP and I am not.
My PC = 100%, my MAX DD = 100%
:)
It takes an account of at least 10K to do this on nano to be safe. For example, EURJPY went to 17% drawdown and 14 levels in the last year.
That is 1700.00! That would wipe your account clean. :) If you don't have 10K, and money to back it up, then I would not use this strategy unless they create 1/10th of a nano! :)
You may want to try the small baskets instead?
If you want a safe pair that makes money, then try USDJPY and just bump your lots too...

Ok, the experiment is coming to an end. I will keep a small amount of $ in this account to trade only USDJPY until further notice. Winding down trades now.
I think it could withstand, but for 6% monthly return, I believe the risk could be just too high in my opinion. Plus, I am making 10+% on my other semi-auto system that I am going to do a PAMM with and I would like my focus on that.
This was fun, and doable, just no time to manage it. :)

Hi
What is your suggestion for for a true timing to enter a trade or starting to run an ea by an ea? If you look at my demo accounts, three of blessing3v8 accounts performed very well on their demo accounts. I am not sure this is the right time for starting a real account or not. Have you any idea?
