A genius at FXCM decided recently to truncate the transaction history on MT4 Terminal to ONE month. If you have an account with them, check your history tab. Help me get the full history or at least a rolling 12 months back. Complain to their support team by writing to [email protected]

Thanks

Hmm, you must mean FXCM US, don't you.
My FXCM UK MT4 account has (now as I checked it) full history back to start of April 2013 when I opened it.
And you can you their WEB interface to get account reports (from any period you need) - even though I don't know which fields they use for sorting.

Sorry hear that.
It seems that most MT4 bridges with US brokers has some problems to keed data in synch (with MT4) because actual transactions are not executed inside MT4 servers.

Hi Mike,

I just noticed this message of yours today and followed up with our tech team regarding your request. They told me you've already spoken with them about a solution which I'm glad to hear.

For future reference to everyone else, you can use the TS publisher to get this trade info from Trading Station instead of MT4, since the same login details work on both platforms:

I have an FXCM US account and can see all my history since the account was established. Have you tried right-clicking anywhere in the Account History section and clicking the 'All History' context menu item?

Yeah did that. Look here, I loss 3 months worth of data and it's not fixed yet.

2013.06.14 04:10 buy 0.14 gbpaud 1.63972 1.63072 1.68055 2013.06.14 07:54 1.63059 0.00 0.00 0.00 -122.69
2013.03.05 18:25 balance Funds transfer. 14349365 - ACH

What server are you on if you don't mind? I'm on FXCM-USDReal03 - Forex Capital Markets, LLC

I cannot use TradeStation here, I'm a signal provider on most MT4 signal sites. I'm getting frustrated with FXCM. MT4 is an after thought to them. I also discovered swap information is not available on the terminal. I wanted to calculate potential cost such as spread , commission and swap to any given trade and add that to risk before I traded. But I can't without this information. My EA cannot go to TS to check swaps there.

I am on FXCM-USDReal03 as well. I only use my FXCM account for spread comparison purposes. My primary accounts are on Alpari and FXDD.

Personally, I think the spreads on FXCM are a bit high. Have you looked into Alpari?

I have the same problem with my signal account. MT4 not showing full history even if i ask it to. I contacted FXCM live help and i was told that the limitation for the history can not be fixed.
This is extremely frustrating since i need full history for my signal account. Now i have to find another broker and my 3 months worth of trading on signal account is wasted completely.
A very bad surprice from FXCM...

FXCM archives the history on MT4 after some time as do some other brokers: https://www.myfxbook.com/help#help_31

Depending on how you plan to use this data from your signal account, our tech support team may be able to provide you with a solution. If you send me a private message with your contact details, I'll be happy to arrange a follow up for you with them.

I sent you a PM. As I already said, there is no alternative for me. I need to see all my trading history in my mt4 Account History tab. My mt4 EA is reading information from there.
