Universal broker? How is your experience with them overall? Are they still running a whitelable? Regulated?

Untill now i don't have any problems and the execution is very fast and spreads are tight. whitelabel? they only have primexm as tech partner but unifx is a real broker, not just whitelabel. I think they are regulated by fsc. this is my 2nd acoount, the first i withdrawed all my money, to try that they don't scam me..

and by the way i look at www.fxintel.com for spread comparing

I have abandoned the later recently as they hiked their spreads by .5 pips from December and never lowered, then their 'upgrade' actually meant shutting down the NY server and move all the traffic to the UK servers I was using and in result UK servers slowed down too. With the former I never had any good reports to be honest.

Thank you! Since my balls are not of steel, after reading your msg I lowered to 1% risk, and that last spike didn't do much harm. thanks bud!

anyone else experience an outtage with Pepperstone? Look in your journal, I have a few errors saying 'trade disabled' pffft instead of a profit I made a loss... this is the third time this has happened with this broker - I'm closing my account

Just to show the difference in broker accounts with MDP all from the same PC, individual MT4 instalations.

These are my results for todays trades:

Acc 1: +89.9 pips (24 wins @ +92.8 pips / 1 loss @ -2.9 pips)
Acc 2: +43.4 pips (15 wins @ +62.8 pips / 8 loss @ -19.4 pips)
Acc 3: +5.9 pips (10 wins @ +37.9 pips / 13 loss @ -32 pips)

Total: +139.2 pips

AWESOME

oh... and on my second account (a one with a bad spread and expected low performance)
43% winning rate, -450pips (-79$); opening a trade is 2.3sec (sic)
setup:
risk 2%; but max lot size constrained.
I tried the num orders level to 4; I'm focusing on the rebates heres.

so as expected, its slow on this account, but I'll expect less bad results... not interesting to get the rebates in these conditions...

Concerning Universal, I too find it suspicious, they claim being regulated by FSC of BVI, but it is not said on the web site and I did not find any records of them on the FSC web site. Besides, according to FPA it is a whitelabel of ACM which is the company to stay away from..

Yes, Iamfx playing dirty tricks and try to scam you. And the spreads are not really tight.

And unifx is not a white label of acm, i think the webmaster of FPA made a mistake. But i see there are not many reviews but thats a good sign, most reviews are when peoples having problems like at the iamfx review...

Do you know their FSC BVI license number? Just trying to make sure money are safe with them. I found they are self-regulated with ARIF but a proper regulation would be great.

No, sorry i don't know they'r number. Maybe they just applying? dont know...

But im a fx trader since 4 years and i have accounts with many regulated brokers, but the most of them are Market Makers.. And one time i had trouble with a broker and i contacted the regulation, but when the money is away you can do nothing. A regulation helps you nothing. Only in the USA the clients have CFTC and they sue all brokers who accept US clients.

Anyway FX should be better regulated as today, because there are many bucket shops out there!

Actually I had troubles with different brokers and in most acute cases a strong letter with a reference to go to their regulating authority with the Ombudsman did the trick and they refunded me (there were some very dubious trades/freezes).
