Okay. I'm new this thread but I am up and running with MDP now. FinFx is my broker. I'm located in Tennessee but I'm thinking it might let me set Fifo to False. Thoughts anyone? I'm running it on my office computer with a 1000ms execution speed but after reading the professor's posts I'm seriously considering getting a VPS.
FinFx takes just about as many trades as the MDF demo but doesn't get all of the profit due to speed I am supposing. I got 2 out of the 3 trades today but they only made 1 pip profit a piece. All my settings are standard.

Just a quick update. Live account. MDP just gave me a 7% return on my account and then followed with a second trade set for a 16% return on my account. So that brings me to....+21% so far today. Thank God for blessing me!!

to bad they are small accounts, so only about 40 dollar growth each but thats about 10% for today! NOt bad for IBFX and a vps.
aloha to all.

OMG fughe, your so right, I was watching 6 trades in front of my eyes trading this am and made another quick $10 on my small account..... sweet..... My wifes loving it...her account is also small and growing also. She now wishs she had put another $100 in it yesterday.... hahahah. Shes understanding the way it works now versus the other EA's. Some loses, but wins over the average of a week and not to push the bot and allow it to accumulate profits and grow from each trade at a set risk. All this on a VPS. Default setting with fifo turned on for USA clients. Hey buddy Eric, your missing out!!!!!

I am running the 1.1.6 version live on thinkforex with a vps. Everytime it trades I get tremendous order modification times - above 2000 ms - printed on the chart.
First I though this is because of running it from my desktop, so I installed it on a VPS and it prints again the 2000-ish ms times. Then I thought it might be because of running two eas on one mt4 platform, so I left the MDP alone by itself on a separate platform, but now it does it again. I noticed this happens right after the first set of trades after installation.
I am pretty sure my latency to the broker is on average 3 ms, I measured it several times by different methods.
I also noticed that the times are getting bigger if I don't reinstall the bot and the mt4 (reinstallation of the bot only won't do) - last time it got above 10000ms, which is absurd. I am afraid this is not just a print error, but also affects the trading.
I run it with another broker live on the same vps and I have no such issues there.
I ran out of suggestions and the support seems to be clueless too. I never met a similar problem in the posts on myfxbook.
Did any of you get this problem with the bot?
I am reading about all those trades from today, but I only got 4 and the stupid message!
I am so sad, I do not know what to do... 😭😭😭

Here's the truth. Your broker is jackin with your trades. They are intentionally slowing them down to make you lose. SO...here is what you need to do to begin.....
#1- reduce the number of trades to 4 or 3 or 2 or even 1 if necessary. Keep reducing until you can get at least one good fill every time.
#2- Set 'Additional_Channels' to 8
#3- change the magic number (do this at least once every week)
#4- Change the OrderCmt (do this at least once every week)
#5- deactivate StopOrders
#6-Deactivate HardStopTrailing
#7- change TrailingResolution to 4 or 3 or possibly even 2 if the orders still fall back to a loss.
#8- If Think Forex has a forum...get on their forum and start asking for help as to why their servers have slowed down so much. Wait a couple days for a response...if no response...start a new thread and ask the same questions about their servers being slow but in a different way. Keep doing this until they respond. Make sure you state in the thread you will keep everyone posted on the progress of the problem.
If none of this works....switch brokers.

Thanks fughe,
I already asked thinkforex, they didn't have any server issues. I used the ExTest ForExpat to measure execution and it showed below 200 ms. That's why I think it's not the broker....or if it is, maybe it's something with their mt4 platform.
My four trades today were good - 3 out of 4 were on profit, but it did not continue trading like most of the accounts here (some with the same broker).
I also noticed that when MDP starts to increase the displayed times, it also prints wrong account balance - does not update with the new trades. I am more likely to believe that something is not right with the bot.
I am waiting a response from support though.

I'm running this bot in GoM + Crucial VPS but I cannot get it to work. I will be moving to another broker and VPS (if needed) but would like your input on what broker to use, so this bot can be profitable.

No, you don't understand. There is nothing wrong with their servers. They are intentionally causing your trading to fail. You have to call their bluff in such a way that it is in their best interest to stop causing your trades to fail. ALL mt4 brokers do this to some extent.

Guys, may i have the information about above? please... :)
To change brokers, you just follow the link in the manual. It is very easy to switch. I haven't heard of exness so I can't comment on that.

Tks & brgds,
Without know the type of account, the average spread, etc....I cannot offer any real help. I can say that MDP will not open any trades unless your spread is lower than 2 pips. I recommend a true ECN account. GoMarkets is pretty well know as a good broker and I have seen several positive comments about them.
I am using an FXOpen ECN, which is well known for have terrible performance with MDP. My results are as good as the demo account. It is all about the setup.
