Has anyone using PowerFlow EA noticed that in the last few days trades have opened that do not appear on the vendors statement?

I have a few baskets which opened (yes all closed profitably so far!) which were not shown on the vendor myfxbook.

This worries me because I was sold a product which should operate in the same way as it does on their live account but it doesn't.......

For anyone looking here - seems the vendors VPS went down or something and they restarted. So far so good with this EA.

Hello fxtrader10, I am glad to read that you are happy with the EA. Trading results, entries and exits can be slightly different because of different price quotes, spread, commission etc.

However, overall the performance should be the same.

Best Regards, Alexander

Hello sharearries,

I believe you missed the fact that this is a live trading account. The account was started in July 2013 and so far PowerFlow returned in average 10.35% p. month.

If you would like, you can view the full stats here: https://www.myfxbook.com/members/Forex21/powerflow-ea-2nd-acc-wwwforex21com/990323

This EA, maybe is safe with huge deposit, but some day it will blow up also big accounts. Sorry but this is the hard truth. Happy new year ;)

I guess you don't own the EA.

I've been running it quite satisfactorily for the past two weeks and so far so good. I am generating steady profits with the lowest lot size. Not much volatility at the moment so lets see how it pans out in January.

Hello fxtrader10, yes you are right i did not buy it, luckily 😁

Take a look at my motto: no pain=no gain! It will buid up your account steadly but some day it will suddenly crush all the deposit. This is my feel when i look at the track record. No one losing month ....the magic of martingale... ;) Martingale, averaging, grid, adding at loser can be safe strategy only within certain margin when you start with big deposit and very low lotsize, but also on a big account the risk is too high..

Would be much more safe to trade with the ProFx 3.0 system; i have seen awesome trackrecord but for some strange reason no one of that accounts is in activity today...very strange.

P.S. I'm trading since 6 years

The vendor should really comment but I haven't seen martingale applied here. Martingale is the doubling of lot sizes to recover you previous loss +1 unit. This EA doesn't do that. Yes lot sizes increase but they don't double. Let the track record speak for itself!

Hello ClassicTrader, consider that every EA when is out of its own statistic parameter, you should consider obsolete and stop it (if an EA blow up suddenly an account you can't stop it ;) in the meanwhile you can make some nice profit from it, but you should not become emotionally attached to it! Said this, you should chose an EA that fit your own trading style; i cannot advice you anything, just because i'm different trader from you and everyone should study before to build some strong confidence, and then you can buy or build up your own EA, but consider that are no Holy grail, we just need to survive to the beast.. Happy new year to everyone and wish to reach your own goal for 2015..(trading plane is the real Holy Grail)

I would not compare powerflow and that gold grid system from the video. From my experience powerflow robot uses quite good equity protection, and I am really happy with the results 😉
Also, I would never put a grid system to trade with metals.

No, I don't work with them. I was one of the members of beta tester group.
Can't say anything about shark ea, never used it.

I will say I'm happy so far too - just their chart looks remarkably similar to you wonder one day if it will blow up in our faces. I am happy for Alexander finally refining a strategy thats making us money.

Anyone know why the vendor only uses 0.02 lot sizes with a balance of $60k plus? Worried about DD or what?
