I would highly recommend to close all outstanding EURUSD buy trades, the ECB may lower rates along with some QE, both of which is negative for the Euro. However, NFP numbers due on Friday may be bad as well, so that may lift up the EUR.

Ahh, ok, forgot about that, thanks.However, looking at the spreadsheet again, I noticed that the sweet spot looks to be SL 75 as that has the highest uncompounded and annualized return. Does that look correct to you?Also, as for the RiskPercent variable in SP, is that the same as the %Risk in your worksheet in that both sets the max risked per trade?

I am not sure if I understand your worksheet correctly (rev 2), I see that you can set the total amount you are willing to risk per trade, but what I don't understand is how we can dictate the lot size to trade to SP? For example, with an account size of 10k and a % risk of 0.1, I see that one should trade 1.0 lot per trade if using 100 as the SL. The thing is, how do we get SP to trade 1.0 lot? And if we decide to go for the 105 SL, how to we get SP to trade 0.95 lot instead?

@Ken I took some trades last week on 600. If you have problems, just manually transfer the EX4 and DLL files to the new 600 directories and everything should be fine.

I've been testing Vavatrade for the past month, it is usually net positive in terms of profitability, so that's good. That said, there are some improvements I think could be considered: 1) Rimantas has told me that the EA takes no consideration of fundamental events. There were several instances where SL was hit or close to being hit because of this. His technical reasonings may be sound, but the performance can probably be improved if these events can be calculated into the trade entry points, timing, or lot size. 2) Overall trend detection and entries can be tweaked to be a bit more ...

Well, I've made a claim for refund. I am not sure if it's a scam or not, probably more along the line of product fraud or not as advertised. However, the main issue is the lack of response from the publisher of SP, so that is unsettling and quite irresponsible from my point of view. Already contacted my credit card and Avangate, and I would advise everyone else to do the same who bought the product recently. So they did a Kangaroo, no big deal, shitty trades happen all the time. I think everyone had their risks set at 20-30, which is understandable given SP's track records, but I guess that's also why accounts blew up or suffered heavy losses. I would probably still continue to use them but setting risks at 3 or 5 and see how things go.

Yes, they were doing stellar before this extremely bad trade, I am guessing they don't follow the fundamentals as closely as they've used to and rely only on the technicals now. I've defended them before, but now I think it's time for them to just come out and explain what exactly happened. Sure, everyone's made bad trades and this is no reason to disregard their previous results, but being able to hear from the proprietor will be reassuring at this point.
