FXtrader2010, if you have been fortunate enough to make your money back "and then some" as you put it, then good for you. For the vast majority of us who have lost money with this EA we will eventually move on but not before we express to Doug how we feel about spending this much money for an EA only to have it completely lose our deposits. One of the purposes of forums like this is to share our results, the good, the bad & the ugly. The messages others as well as myself have left are not only directed towards Doug but also towards others who would be interested in buying this EA...

I certainly hope so Doug. I really hate the fact (just like so many others) that I spent so much money on this thing only to bave it completely fail and then you come out with 2 new robots that have near perfect results. That tells me that you had the ability to put the same logic in RTP but didn't. When you do things like this it really does appear that you're only after our money. At the very least you could have refunded our money so we could purchase VTP or Pivot Pro if we wanted to or put that trading logic into RTP. I concur with mchiang0027 in that RTP should incorporate the VTP strategy. If Doug were to release the revised version of RTP with the VTP logic built in, then we would all have the option to download and use the new version IF we wanted to. For those of you who don't want to download and install the new version you simply wouldn't have to. It's the same thing he did with the new SET files for RTP and the new 2.6 version. There were those who chose to download the new version and use the new SET files and there were those of us who chose not to. It would be our choice.

Actually LibertyHound, to a degree you're reinterating what I was saying. I get that MYFX is for posting your results and sharing but for me personally, I didn't get on here to post my results in detail. I got on here simply to see what others had to say about RTP before I made the decision to purchase it. I won't say take my word for it because my results aren't shown but when I demo tested RTP back in Dec I was amazed at how similar to the vendor's account my account was. LibertyHound, I respect your opinion but if the EA were working that great you would not have seen this many people demanding a refund. Again, this is wasn't a $97, $197 or even a $297 EA. When you spend that kind of money you expect certain results. I was actually considering a much cheaper EA that also shown positive results but after reading Doug Price's background and seeing the results for the past year I decided to give it a try. At this point Doug, I'm willing to accept small consistent wins over large losses. I realize that RTP has had it's bad moments last year such as May and July when it actually lost money for the month overall. I've never seen it loose this consistently with the size of losses it has been lately. If you could incorporate that stategies of Vortex into RTP I would feel as though I have gotten my money's worth and could possibly even recoupe the cost of the EA.

I agree...if Doug could somehow include the trading logic of Vortex into RTP for those clients like myself who just purchased that would be great. When you spend that kind of money for an EA, you expect to see exceptional results like those from Vortex. Not only are you out the cost of the EA but you also factor in the money you lost out of your account as well.

Thanks for the responses everyone! I think what I meant to say is does anyone using this EA with FX Choice as their broker have results that are similar to the vendors account? Since I'm in the US, they are the closest broker I could find to Synergy that will accept US clients. Thanks for your help!
