It's likely a bug since they wouldn't reveal the real dd if they were doing it intentionally. Even still it looks bad and it makes making decisions more difficult. Another side note is that the dd on the front page usually includes equity drawdown (unrealized losses) while the other one is just trades after they have closed which is less accurate.

There is some problem with the dd calculation of many systems. See the screenshots. The thing is that it's not so simple. Autotrade will close trades as the provider closes trades. Meaning that if your provider manually closes a trade then your trade will be closed. If your provider hits the sl or tp then yours will close at market. You can only manage in the reverse. Meaning that you can manage trades to be closed early. I would suggest however that you are paying a pip for these trades. This is a service just like any other. These providers have years of data to show you. Regarding snowy's comment, I think he is right but there is something else that needs to be said about this topic. These two providers were always similar but it seems that in the past month they have become very similar. Seems the pairs are now the same pairs. I think Ninja also used to be more selective. You would see just one for two trades. In any case I do think trading both with half risk is a good idea but of course everyone needs to do what they think is best.

There is one aspect with ninjatrainer and icmarkets and pepperstone. ICM closes at 23:57 on Friday while Pepperstone closes at 23:55. So two minutes earlier on the weekend. This could be the difference.

They don't track it per se, but if your account is updating then they know your equity so.....it's possible. What can happen is if the user deletes hi account and then readds it.

I think what happens (myfxbook should find a way to prevent users from doing this) is that myfxbook saves your drawdown in terms of running loss. However, I do believe at any point you can delete an account and then re-add it. At that point the old trades will revert to closed trade drawdown and only new trades will have running loss drawdown. Let's make an easy example. You have 10,000 as your starting balance. You open a trade that brings your equity up to 12,000 and then the equity drops to 8,000. Not only should they have removed Asia permanently, Asia imo violates the rules. It says not martingale or grid strategies. Now technically speaking it's not grid because his entries are determined by something but it is very grid like in that it keeps adding positions. There could have been too much slippage. The spreads can widen severely around that time and then miss the trade. Also the brokers sometimes don't have trading around that time but my trade opened 10 minutes after then open and most brokers are open by that time.

I don't think it's the time on the site but the time on autotrade. It seems something happens to these guys sometimes once they get approved. I like to see two months on autotrade before using.

If security isn't an issue for you (meaning that you trust those that can physically walk up to your pc) then you can use this method that I use. You set it to automatically login to a specific account. Then you would put shortcuts to terminal.exe for your metatrader instances that need to run all the time in the startup folder. Until windows 8 came along you could simply navigate to the startup folder from the start menu. Right click the startup folder and then click open. I understood that there were only 2 brokers affected by the chf disaster to the point where their existence was in jeopardy. Those were Alpari UK and FXMC USA. I think every broker was affected one way or another.

That is truly amazing. I can't help to think if they are at fault because remember they were also one of the brokers that was hit by the chf crisis. You can't keep blaming bad luck.
