Having new trades on the EA, today.Surprising (or not), but as the EURUSD pair is going down the EA behavior seems to behave the same way. Surprising also, it's happen the same day, as they suposely sell all the licences...

Why ? Don't know, I'm not the guy who build the EA...I'm just putting it here for information...I'll probably ask FX Choice to convert the classic account to ECN as it seems to better according to ForexSensation...

I don't have any trade on my account yesterday, really strange...For it's definitly a proof that this EA is really dependant to the broker.I would really like to test it on a different Broker... Let me think about that.

That account is running with the default settings of the EA.Yes, it's the ForexSensation one.I've put S1, S2, S3 stategies set to on, Aggressive S3 is disabled.Lot size is set to MM with risk of 0.2. So lot size are 0.02 for my initial deposit of 100$.The competition settings which are not these, use MM of 0.4 risk and S3 aggressive on.I don't recommand the competition settings, as the S3 stategy in agggrssive mode, seems to go mainly loss money except in the last 3 months.I don't trust too much that EA as the backtest are not very good (Profit start just at the beginning of co...

The settings are the default ones, using MM at 0.2% of risk. Stategies S1, S2 and S3 enabled, aggressive S3 disabled.It's a not an ECN account, that's a classic one (I've choosen ForexSensation in the list), at FxChoice, leverage is 1:200

They are focusing only on 3 months...And the "not aggressive" result is not that bad !Again, the EA seems to be news sensitive and the news filter included in it, don't provide news before 2010 - 2011. That can explain why the 2008 - 2011 is really bad.The competition settings were really build for competition, and there need to be forget for real account.Others strategies are valid, especially S1 and S2, I will probaly set it up on my real account with those 2 stratégies only.

And the last one : ForexSensation_All_Norm.htmSorry for delay but all my post are publish 5 to 8 hours later, I don't know why...Speaking abou the EA, I was right the newsfilter seems to send no data back in 2008.I don't know what are the effect in the EA itself but it can explain a lot about performance between 2008 and 2011 which seems to be extremly bad.

HelloI'm using tickstory + tick data suite. They work fine together.Speaking about the backtest, I have the data starting from 01.01.2008 to now, and I'm finalizing that.Please wait for few hours to complete them and for me to publish the result.The first thing I can say, is that it's "impossible" to have full backtest from 2008 as some strategies build in the EA only trades since 2012... Don't know if it's hardcoded or due to market change.Stay tune.

This night first profit on a trade 2.84 $ for 0.1 lot.Still trying to have a valid backtest, I've downloaded ticks data from 2008 to now, should be enough.

First trade on my ECN FXChoice real account, first loss 1$ for 0.1 lot.Not a big deal look like hitting the sl for a trailing stop... not that bad.I'll continue to run both ForexSensation and Y-Combination on my real account.

The things I was able to know until them:- ForexSensation in my backtest, it's around 0 to 2 trades per days, there are long period of times without trades.- There is a news filter on the EA (impossible to change it), so that explains also why some days don't have any trades.- Plus the Summer Time is set incorrectly (I was able to backtest it as it performes better with -1 hour in the tester), there is a patch for that- I also suspect that the pair shown on the website is not the one used by default by the EA (EURUSD)For Y Direction, I don't like it, because, with default settings,...

I've bought this EA yesterday, but until now, I try to backtest it on the last 3 months, changing parameters to match the graph above.Until now I've failed.Using ticks data to backtest it I have only 38 trades and it's not as profitable as the graph above.Really strange. I will consider to be refund.
