If you are doing great in demo and yet you can't do great in live account, then you should know you actually have not develops any strategy. When I traded my first demo decade ago, it took me more than a year to develop the strategy I'm using and keep updating as the market changes. Current demo I'm trading is being copied directly from the bank funds I'm trading due to I can't display such live accounts here. If you are trading demo,make sure you develop a strategy from there and apply it to live account it will work perfectly.

Any one trading on luck is simply gambling, you have to do a lot of home workto identify a trend, so this requires hard work, I takes me hours daily to identify trends and ride on it daily, once you identify trend, it make trading look very easy as you make and cut out your profits.

Any professional trader uses stop out just in case, I don't fail to use it, as a matter of fact with it I actually make much profits, because I take proper time before I place any trade, knowing that making a wrong or hurry calls will lead to my stop out being hit, so i take time to analyse before placing any trades, this give me higher accuracy in identifying trends and making profits riding it.

Just uses placed stops and auto stop then you will be fine on profits, that is how I accumulate profits all the time and entering at the safest points.

For me, when the market is not yet breakout, I tend to risk just 1 percent, but when it is clear, I go for well above 1percent, because trading is all about taking the chances or opportunities when it presents itself.

Stop loss or Auto take out of Buy/Sell limits actually help you to have a good risk management and make you compound your profits very well, this is also one of my best strategies, and make my profits consistent.

You better develop your own strategy, it's very difficult to replicate another trader's strategy. Like a trader tried to replicate my manual trading strategy and failed woefully. It look amazing and easy to him when I keep the profits coming, but he never knew the complexities and the mode and speed of calculation and processing speed my brains goes into, to make sure I make the best decision with higher percentage of exiting each trades with profits.
