DATE: 21.09.2016 // PAIR: GBP/USD // RESULT: +0 Pips // SUMMARY OF TRADE: Trade was opened at 21:00 BST two hours after FOMC news pushed price up in bullish direction. Trade will still open until President Draghi speech tomorrow at 14:00 BST. Have to also take into consideration.

DATE: 22.09.2016 // PAIR: GBP/USD // RESULT: +30 Pips // SUMMARY OF TRADE: Trade that was opened yesterday was closed today at 13:30 BST before President Draghi spoke at 14:00 BST for +30 pips profit. Price did rise initially during and after Draghi speech but it is important I stick to trading plan and close trades at market before key fundamental news items are released.

DATE: 23.09.2016 // PAIR: GBP/USD // RESULT: +75 Pips // SUMMARY OF TRADE: Trade was opened in a strong bearish move. There were no key fundamental news items scheduled so I was able to let trade run throughout course of day. I had to close trade at 21:00 BST for +75 pips profit as I don’t leave trades open over weekend.

I manually closed trade at 14:30 BST as Fed Char Yellen was testifying at 15:00 BST which has been known to cause volatility in the past. Trade was closed at BE.

News that Britain will be officially leaving EU/Article 50 in March 2017 helped push price and sentiment in negative direction. Trade is currently around BE at time of writing this.
