France Consumer Confidence
Based on a survey of approximately 2000 households in France that the consumer confidence index is calculated. E The questionnaire covers the following topics: the economic condition in France in the past and future, personal financial status in the past and future, unemployment, intention to make large purchases, current and predicted savings capacity are the topics covered by the questionnaire. Using the factor analysis technique, the indicator value is measured. A sentiment index is then formed that evaluates present sentiment in comparison to historical index values spanning the period 1987-2011. It is exceptionally optimistic when the value is greater than 110, and exceptionally pessimistic when it is lower than 90. Neutrality is represented by the number 100.

Eurozone Industrial Production Recovers In July
Eurozone industrial production recovered at a moderate pace in July due to the rebound in consumer and capital goods output despite tariff threats, official data showed Tuesday. Industrial production registered a monthly growth of 0.3 percent, in contrast to the 0.6 percent decrease in June, Eurostat reported. However, the rate was slightly weaker than the forecast of 0.4 percent.

German Economic Sentiment Rises In September
German economic confidence improved in September but financial market experts remained cautiously optimistic, a monthly survey conducted by the think tank ZEW showed on Tuesday. The ZEW indicator of economic confidence rose unexpectedly to 37.3 in September from 34.7 in the previous month. The score was expected to fall to 27.3.
