Italy Consumer Confidence
The Confidence Climate Index in Italy is based on a survey of 2,000 Italian consumers. The poll is conducted over the phone and examines household economic situations, employment and savings prospects, as well as anticipated purchases of durable products and services. A seasonal adjustment is made to the Consumer Confidence Index, which is then fixed to the 2005 year of reference. An index value of 100 implies that consumer sentiment has not changed, an index reading value of over 100 implies that consumer confidence is improving, and a value under 100 indicates that consumer expectations are low.

Eurozone Private Sector Expands In February
The euro area private sector managed to grow for the second straight month in February with the deepening contraction in France being offset by a moderate rebound in Germany, flash data from the purchasing managers' survey by S&P Global showed on Friday.The flash composite output index remained unchanged at 50.2 in February. French Private Sector Downturn Deepens
France's private sector registered a deeper contraction in February as the drag from the service sector intensified, survey results from S&P Global revealed Friday. The HCOB flash composite output index dropped unexpectedly to 44.5 in February from 47.6 in January. The score signaled the steepest fall since September 2023. The reading was seen at 48.0.
